I had a very nice balcony with table and chairs. the balcony overlooked a golf course and beyond that was a beautiful view of Mackinac Bridge and Lake Michigan. Also watched fireworks that were visible from my balcony that were set off in Mackinac city. room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. The shower however had no grab bar or non-slip mats."

"Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat."

"This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! "The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is lake front and easy access providing a shuttle to the ferries which is super close. Also close to the Mackinaw Bridge if you want to go to the city. The property is recently renovated but still clean. Is a bit outdated and the hallways have a musty smell due to the carpet but I felt like it was clean. Breakfast was crowded and often running out. I feel like this could be better if they extended the time to more than a 2...

"Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again."
