"We felt very secluded in the area we were at, despite there being other buildings around. It was very calm and peaceful here. I was really neat that water is in front of and behind the property. We used this space as an escape to feel no pressure for obligations but to just do what we felt like. Color, reading, playing games on my laptop, ect. "The property was clean, quiet, and bug free on the inside. It was definitely Michigan weather. Air conditioning in the morning and heat at night. Lol. The lake was pretty and the loons were singing at night and in the morning. At night you havr a great view of the northern sky. No dark sky park needed. Firewood and charcoal seemed to be provided, which was a really nice amenity. It was a short trip so sadly we didn't use any of it. Next time we'll come for a week. Rent cabin 7 if you want a dock...

"Nice secluded beach with lots of nature; the stair down to the beach is steep. Fun swimming beaches and attractions nearby. A bit of highway noise since the house is right off the main road with lots of semis, but also easy access. The metal bunk beds were too squeaky and hard for sleeping. The house had most of the basic kitchen tools we needed (there is now a can opener) and it was clean."

"The dishwasher didn’t work, I tried to notify our contact, but I wasn’t able to get ahold of them. There is a laundry facility that shares the driveway, and sometimes their trucks block you in. We did enjoy our stay."

Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! "Diana's place on the lake was perfect for our ladies get away! We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing sunrise/sunsets on the lake, the cozy fireplace and living space on a rainy day. "Cabin is in a great location. Short drive to any of the amazing area attractions. The cabin was simple but updated. The host met us on our arrival and showed us in. He also checked I with us the next day to make sure we didn't need anything. The cabin sits right on the lake, with a gorgeous view morning or evening. We didn't spend too much time at the cabin other than to sleep as we were there to see Mackinac, St. Ignace and some of the beautiful fall colors, but we'd definitely stay again...

"Space was exactly like the listing, with a parking spot right out front. Less than 10 minute walk to restaurants and the Ferry Launch. Host was quickly responsive, although we had no issues during our stay. Check out was simple, just lock the door! Loved not having to play maid service like with other properties. Would recommend, and saved for future visits! "
