"Overwhelming cleaning chemical odors were the first impresssion upon entry.Double "sofa" bed is an air mattress found in the closet, not the sofa shown in photos.Dishwasher had food residue in it, stunk, and needed cleaning; we hand washed dishes.The oven didn't work; would not pre-heat to temperature, and had grime in the bottom.There were no oven dishes anyway, or potato peeler, or can opener.We found a "served" notice on the door during our stay that four months of back pay were in arrears...

"The apartment was clean and spacious and had pretty much everything you could need. I wasn't cooking, but one thing I didn't find was a cutting board in the kitchen. I did not use the pool / spa but the area looked nice. Location was very convenient to lots of things, and if you're not in a rush I recommend trying to use the bus a few times, there is one that stops right near the apartment building and goes downtown or west through West Hollywood. "

"No running water. Shower is a standalone tub surround in the middle of a room that is walled off, has a 5-gallon bucket the owner must heat, and is pump powered with a hand handle. The rooms themselves are okay for a night. There are no working bathrooms inside the house, you must use a port a potty outside"
