"Room was excellent. Bed was super comfy. Location of hotel was beautiful. Bathroom had a very nice shower (no tub) the decor was new and had a log cabin feel. The only thing was the breakfast wasnt really a continental breakfast. The only food they had was waffles and granola bars. I assume because this was a hospitality college, that they keep on top of cleanliness, service and the customer experience."

"The lady at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. Felt like you were on a vacation far away when you entered the hotel. So special. Room was spacious and loved the louvered windows and it was the quietest a/c we ever experienced in a hotel. The only thing the room didn't have was a microwave. We also enjoyed the wonderful full breakfast with eggs and sausage. Just a great stay, very restful. Visiting from N.C."

"Our time in Vinton County was nothing short of fabulous. The Shea Farmhouse was lovely. Perfect size, ample amount of room for myself and 2 teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped for vacation. While we are very used to old homes, some may need to know before you go in order to have a happy stay like we did.Pros: *The property was so lovely, loads of green space for baggo/corn toss, running around, walking, bird watching, enjoying the light show of fireflies, nightly orchestral music...
