"The owners were great and returned messages promptly. The house was gorgeous and in a great location. It was literally a few minutes into downtown and had a beautiful view of the lake from one of the bedrooms. A few times we just jumped on scooters and made our way down to sightsee and eat. "We had a two night stay here, and it was pretty good for the price. The pictures are a bit deceiving, as it does not show the outside of the property. You are essentially in the downstairs of a separate building from the main house on property. If you are a light sleeper, the upstairs flooring is very squeaky and can be a nuisance. The faucets you need to be careful with too, as they will leak all over the bathroom counter on a low flow setting. We also killed about five very large spiders...

"Place fairly clean and looks as advertised. Reasonably priced. Key items missing: beeping C02 detector, had problems getting hold of owner. Bought my own batteries for it, also missing paper towels, bought my own too. Things we don't think about much but are important Some light switches not working but lamps provide enough light."

We had some issues with both the front door and back door which need adjustment to prevent scraping during closing and opening.. for renters who are there with a pet it would be beneficial to have available a small commercial vacuum to do the flor rug and bare floors especially when bring your pet.Kitchen was adequately stocked with plates, glassware and silverware.
