"The owners were great and returned messages promptly. The house was gorgeous and in a great location. It was literally a few minutes into downtown and had a beautiful view of the lake from one of the bedrooms. A few times we just jumped on scooters and made our way down to sightsee and eat. The house was very clean and the owners did a great job of welcoming us into their home. It is a 3 story house with two sets of stairs, so please be aware of this. My parents got a great workout. "This is a cute cottage that has loads of charm and character. Dont be put off by its proximity to the micro brewery as it is very chill and the night we stayed it closed at 9pm. It also has excellent beer. The town is full of character and is close by. 10 minutes to the supermarket. About a 25 minute walk from the train station and terminal for the Alaska ferry. Would definitely recommend."

"This house is the best deal on the island for a large group of people wanting to stay close to Friday Harbor. Location is super convenient. My main disappointments with the house is that there are only 2 showers, one of the rooms has no window that can be opened so it gets very warm on hot days, and the house creaks loudly as people walk around. I would say this house is geared more for the kind of people who can handle a hostel kind of experience."
