"Once over the threshold, it is both welcoming & engaging. There is a real “ personal “ touch & the owners are so “ hands on”& this care filters down through all their Staff. Alas, the weather was not in our favour, but the sun always shines inside the “ Inn on the Tay”! will definitely revisit & highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely experience! Mark & Kirsten."

"A casa era muito confortável, típica do local. O quarto, a cama, o banheiro… …tudo muito bom (e limpo!). A recepção foi muito boa. Tudo perfeito."

"Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, cleanliness, friendly service and the excellent breakfasts. For our personal preference we found the mattress and pillows were a little firm. "

"A bit hard to find but this Inn was great. We loved our stay there. Our room was very nice. It was right next to the stream which provided some 'white noise' to block out any noisy pub activity (it can get a bit noisy on the weekends especially). The staff were amazing. The food was wonderful (especially breakfast). Prices were reasonable. If you are a guest there, the staff made sure a table was always reserved. Would thoroughly recommend without hesitation. "

"The staff are the greatest asset. All friendly, helpful and smiling. The food at breakfast and dinner was exceptional. The room was huge - only negative was that it was a big too warm inside because the weather was sunny. No air con ( I don’t think). The grounds are gorgeous and views breathtaking. Extremely handy for Explorers Garden and Pitlochry theatre. Will definitely be back. Great facilities : gym, pool, hit tubs - lovely bar area too. "

"Wonderful hotel in scenic Pitlochry. Our room was delightful and the bed was soooo comfortable. The breakfast room was beautiful. The sitting room off of the lobby was so warm and cozy with the fireplace burning. Great location. Breakfasts are all cooked to ordered. Excellent food but slow. We loved Pitlochary and hope to come back. "

"All aspects of the hotel were very good, all rooms were pleasingly decorated and as you would wish in a traditional highland hotel, even down to some whisky in the room. We requested a front room and this was provided. Great cooking. "

"This hotel and restaurant is an absolute gem. Every one and staff especially Logan and Shane were amazing. Hygge all around from the grounds, the room and the manor house. The property is beautiful. "

Not worth the money

"Nice hotel, but the description on the website does not informs that the hotel has a separate facility where the rooms are located, so you have to check in, get out of the building, walk 50 meters, enter another building and go up to the room by stairs without any help from the staff. The room was very small, with a even smaller window and a even smaller TV (wich I would call a pc monitor). The bathrrom was small and not very well designed, so you can not use the toilet and have the door open at the same time, wich is terrible considering the bathroom does not have a window. Confortable bed makes it better. The breakfeast is weak, with almost zero choices from the buffet; the kitchen made breakfeast, on the other hand, was really good. Overall, does not worth the money."
