"Most romantic and agreeable stay, with a view from a lakeside room. Would love to return, especially after a magnificent evening meal. Hosts were very communicative and we loved the peacocks and natural surroundings.
Would love to return one day, especially if we were offered a small discount "

"The Pack Horse is a lovely old pub with friendly staff that were most helpful. We stayed 1 night, the room was comfortable and was ideal for our stay. They also provided plenty of tea and milk which was a bonus.
The only downside is they do not do food but there is a fish & chop shop or takeaway that you can order and bring into the pub to eat."

"While there is nothing wrong with this hotel if you just want to sleep there, if you want food or drink find somewhere else. On Friday night they closed the bar at least half an hour early so we couldn’t get a drink, on Sunday they were short staffed so stopped serving food at 7pm so we had to eat crisps and nuts! The hotel is a long way from anywhere to nip and get food and drink, so please make sure you are suitably refreshed before coming back."

"Food was very good. Large room. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom let it down as small dark and pokey. Very very steep stairs to reach room. Plenty of parking. Outside area for sitting which was pleasant. Not bad value for money though."
