"Had an extremely comfortable stay. Rooms are big and airy - we stayed in a King suite. Staff were friendly and very accommodating - our room was on the road side of the hotel and we could hear the traffic, however, on request we were moved to a really quiet room on the other side of the hotel. Continental breakfast was delicious and service was excellent. Hôtel is in a beautiful village and is in easy walking distance into Stratford- about 20 min walk. We would definitely stay again."

The location was excellent, a short walk from all the historic sights, and I very much appreciated the ample wardrobe storage and the kitchenette. Check-in was straightforward and communication beforehand was thorough. The one thing I'd note is that the room was located on a road that saw some traffic in the mornings, so bear that in mind if you're an usually late and/or light sleeper. "A fantastic setting, by the river Avon over looking a weir, nice sound and wildlife to watch. Very warm welcome, spotless, crisp bed linen and very comfortable. Well finished and clean bathroom and kitchen with ample tea, coffee and milk in fridge. Excellent food with a choice to suit all tastes and largely locally sourced. Staff very helpful and pleasant, all in all great value for money and a good place to relax. Would definitely stay here again."
