"Of the 4 hotels I stayed in in Scotland, this was the best. A short drive outside of St Andrews with rates a fraction of the cost of hotels in town. Parking on site was easy. On site restaurant was excellent. The fish and chips was the best I had in the country. Staff was amazing. Rooms were in excellent condition. Property was unique and looked like a small village. "

This is an old pub that’s being converted into various rooms on the top 2 floors.
Bathrooms are not on-suite however their are adequate facilities to be shared amongst the rooms so this wasn’t an issue for me.
Value for money is second to none.
The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious enough for 1-2 travellers.
Downstairs their is a kitchen and eating area (multiple booths) so you can prepare and cook your own food.
Not much to do in the area, with a pub nearby and some local...

I really liked the premium feel to the apartments and was well taken care of in communication with their staff when I had questions during and the option to leave my. "This hotel is.....a Fairmont hotel after all. You will have a very spacious room, all the amenties you can imagine (including nespresso capsules in your room) and a wonderful bathroom where you can relax from your day. Not to mention the spa, of course.
