"Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! "

"Can’t say enough good things! Don was communicative, the house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone. The backyard was incredible and we had such a great time using the kayaks and relaxing under the gazebo. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with anything we could have needed. Absolutely recommend!! "

"This was our family's first time to Candlewood Lake/Squantz Pond. The area is picturesque and the location of this property is perfect. The porch off of the living area directly overlooks Squantz Pond and mountains. The basement was ideal for teenagers with a projector screen, air hockey/pool, and exercise equipment. "Place is exactly how it looks! Great location between New Paltz, Kingston, Woodstock. We unfortunately had inconsiderate neighbors that forced us leave early, but Frank was incredibly gracious and made it up to us. Would stay again. "
