Casas de Férias em Penhook, VA

"Amazing location, especially for the price. Clean, cozy, and a short walk to the river. Highly recommend and will hopefully be able to book again in future."

"Very impressive updates to this property. Everything was immaculate. Everything is well thought out for a family or just a couple. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Thoughtfully designed to sit out and enjoy nature. This is definitely a place we would come back to again"

"We had a fantastic stay at SML and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Even with several days of rain, we still had an amazing time thanks to the thoughtful design and setup of the house. The property was spotless when we arrived, everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The abundance of amenities made it feel like home (and then some), and we especially appreciated all the little details that showed how much care went into preparing the house for guests. "We came to Hudson Haven for our final summer send-off before school starts back up. We loved the home and the location. Extremely clean and the host was excellent with prompt responses to any questions I had. Highly recommend!!"

"Beautiful home and terrific location!"

"This was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. And to boot it had everything you would need for the stay on the lake, including kayaks, paddle board and a hot tub to warm up in after a chilly day on the lake. Yep, we were there in the dead of summer but temps remained in the low 70’s and 80’s with misty rain. The weather was meh, but the location and time with family was fabulous! The host was very responsive and very thoughtful with a welcoming snore kit to enjoy by their fire pit....

"Great stay close to Roanoke and all the adventures in the areas."

"We loved the cottage. It's on beautiful property. Made us feel at home. Kitchen well supplied. Because I'm in my 70's, I had a hard time figuring out where to enter the access code. My kids would have had no problems. There were a number of things near the door and it took me a while to figure it out. That's probably on me, but you could mention where to enter the code."

"Great communication and checking to ensure all was well."

"There are no outside pictures which I would assume was intentional. This is a single wide trailer with an unkempt exterior on a piece of property cluttered with old cars and debris. The comforter in one room had stains all over it. There was no soap for showers . Which has been a given in all other properties I have stayed at.Old trailer but it was as clean as it could be. Living room does have cute furniture."

"My family loved staying in the farmhouse. It is a beautiful home and it was perfect for our celebration of my mom’s 90th birthday. It was very clean and there were many special touches that were appreciated. It is in a lovely area and was very quiet. Communication with the host was exceptional. I highly recommend this property and would love to stay there again."

"This was an amazing place to stay!"

"Different size beds"

"This was a great house to stay in for a quick trip to Martinsville-- Plenty of space and a great kitchen for cooking. There were three bedrooms (all with double or larger beds) and one bathroom. Easy to check in and great set up. Thanks!"

"Lovely stay for a quick overnight trip to the races! Views from the front porch are beautiful."

"We loved the property! Great location to all that we were doing while in the area! Would stay here again. We would like to suggest since we are older folks with limited tech savvy, please leave a list of what each remote does. There were so many it was over whelming! Other than the TV we never figured out what the others did especially the ones in the bathrooms. Also we had never seen those types of bathroom mirrors and could not figure out how to dim or turn off the three lights on the mirror...

"Everything was fantastic "

"Wonderful property! Convenient location. Spacious for our family of 6. Layout is nice everybody has their own space. The beds are comfortable and outdoor space is great with deck and hot tub. Decor is cute and makes you feel at home. Kitchen well equipped. Only negative is in summer the master bedroom is super hot —about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house—which could be easily fixed with a window unit and ceiling fan. Batteries were dead in one of the remotes. Owner was very responsive...
