"Stayed here with family and an infant. Was a lovely subsection on their home that was closed off from the main house where I assume the owners live. In a very nice quiet neighborhood and was fairly close to many things in the foothills of LA county. Would stay here again if we every come back down to visit family again."

"Property was very clean and more spacious than expected. Fully furnished kitchen. Enough towels and linen for a dozen family members. Enjoyed the hot tub. Quiet and private neighborhood. Host was very friendly and warned (apologized) us about a couple minor things that were still being repaired but did not in any way affect our stay nor enjoyment. I highly recommend and would visit again."

"Super stay at this special “micro mansion”, inspiring and creative. I enjoyed the streamlined functionality “Japanese” nuances throughout the space. Communication with the owner was on point- the gate to the tiny home had been broken prior to my arrival, a repairman was sent immediately to fix the situation. If you prefer spartan, clean and quiet experience, this property is perfect!"

"Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Essentials in kitchen and bath. Washing machine was great since we packed very lightly for the trip. Easy walking to dinner. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful garden greats you in the front yard."

"I hope you are reading this before you booked this home/host. I did not and it did not turn out well. It was a terrible experience and is still going on a month later. We weren't able to stay in this home due to "issues". They did not get us check in information as promised. The replacement place they put us in was 2 bedrooms not 4 with many items missing from the kitchen etc. We left a day early because we were so uncomfortable, and they promised a one night refund, which I still haven't seen...

"We enjoyed our stay. Our pets loved it, it was private, cozy, and was true to the advertisement. The only thing was the heater was too hot and would continue to heat past the setting. We had to turn it off and use the AC to cool the room down. The onsite manager was readily available and we met the owner, Ronald who was extremely kind and so nice to talk to. We would stay again! Thank you!"

"Everything was fine in the beginning until it rained which was when the ceiling began leaking water and puddles causing flooding from water seeping in from under the floor boards which caused a slip and fall injuring my ankle and ruining some personal items like shoes and clothing from water damage and loss of sleep and comfort and fear or safety hazards. "The propery is a giant room plus a kitchen and 3/4 bath. Plenty of space and certainly clean. Road noise all night on a major boulevard is real, but not impossible. Shower drains very slowly; and a dresser and armoire for clothes would help a lot. Easy fixes :)"

"A palace indeed! Tons of history and you can tell at one time, it was one of the most amazing homes in the U.S.! You're only renting a portion of the home as the other parts are used for photo shoots and filming. The landscaping is phenomenal and the exterior of the home is breathtaking. There are improvements to be made as some of the exterior balcony tiles are missing and some of the lawn structures are deteriorating. The interior portion where we stayed was nice but there was some plug covers...
