"Only stayed one night. Lovely quiet setting. The whole place has character. Staff were great and friendly, very accommodating. Beautiful views from the restaurant and bar of the gardens. Room was nice, tidy and clean although a little warm for my liking. Will be back for another stay soon! "

"Room was not tidy for 3 people. There was a sofa bed that we opened up and put a sheet on, and thankfully we had a blanket in the car... we had to ask for a towel too. Very good breakfast, good shower, very nice pool. Attentive staff. Proper cleaning."

The staff in all areas were out of this world and could not do enough for us especially in the restaurant and I have to give a special mention to Derrick who is incredible and takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows. "The restaurant was excellent although the service was slow as there was no Maitre d' at the door to welcome and we had to wait quite a few minutes to be seated. However, the waiter cleared a table for us efficiently upon request. The setting was perfect for our outdoor weekend: rapidly flowing river outside our window and lovely views into the valley. The room was comfortable and spacious fitting myself, my husband and grown son adequately."
