"This is a lovely property, very comfy and the restaurant on site offers delicious quality food and drinks. The cabin was cozy and clean. We were about 5 mins from the town area that also is very cute and has some shops that sell interesting stuff. I highly recommend staying here. Very good quality for the price. Will be returning soon!"

Personally I prefer to support smaller independent hotels on trips where I can, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Downtown shops and cafes are within a walking distance, and the pool and hot tubs were enjoyable on a hot sunny day in January. I would recommend. "

"The room was clean and well-appointed. Mike at check-in was efficient and friendly. Throughout our stay, the front desk staff (Mike, another young man, and Linda) were friendly, helpful and responsive (explaining heat and fan controls, providing casual restaurant recommendations, providing map of Palm Springs and the area, etc.). Good coffee, hardboiled eggs, muffins, yogurt, cereal, milk for continental breakfast. Smaller classic hotel centered around attractive courtyard and small pool. "

"Orbit In is for anyone seeking a throwback to the mid century modern era. It is an older property with fairly basic amenities. Stayed in the Albert Frey room which had a fireplace, outdoor shower, and record player. Bed was comfortable. There is a cocktail hour by the pool. Staff was very nice. No breakfast included. There is a small hot tub and fire pit for winter nights. Great location and very walkable to most of downtown Palm Springs. "

"I stayed in Palm Springs for my trip to see Joshua Tree National Park. It’s a small drive to the park but cool place to stay. Great service and location. Easy walking to restaurants and shops downtown but far enough away to be quiet for sleeping. I would stay here again. "
