Many upgrades include AC and heat, solid red oak flooring, granite countertops, ledgestone fireplace with cedar mantel, period-style light fixtures and a cozy dining nook. Wrap-around deck with forest views and a private footpath leading to a magical screened-in gazebo sat alongside a seasonal brook.

Idyllbrook has a keyless entry system to make things easy for everyone. Check-in is a breeze if you decide to make the most of your trip and head up late after work. The true treasure of Idyllbrook is the screened-in gazebo aka BrookHouse that sits at the edge of the property line along the babbling brook. Follow the meandering steps down into the backyard and find the BrookHouse awaiting your arrival. Inside, a huge sectional entices you to kick your feet up. As soon as you sit, you'll have no choice but to take a moment to be still and listen to the sounds of the forest. The magic of the BrookHouse will wash over you, and a nap may happen before you know it. A small desk sits in the corner along with a power strip in case a spark of inspiration hits. The desk has a chair but can also be converted into a standing desk.
𝐁𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬
This two-bedroom cabin hosts a king bed in the master bedroom and a full in the second sleeping area. Both sleeping area are located on the top floor of the cabin and each have a private balcony and sitting area.
There is one full bathroom on the entry-level of the cabin with a shower/tub combo, toilet, and sink.
𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦
The living room, dining nook, and kitchen are down a small set of five or so steps from the front door. The living room has two large, cushy sofas and a lounge chair so there is plenty of room for everyone to cozy up around the statement ledgerock wood-burning fireplace or the 55" flat-screen Roku TV with Bluetooth soundbar. There is also a plethora of board games for game night!
𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧
The kitchen is well-equipped with all your cooking needs including ample cooking utensils, basic oils, spices, waffle maker, rice cooker, bakeware, and even children's plates and cutlery.
𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝 & 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐤
The backyard is sprinkled with little sitting areas to nestle into as well as a hammock perfect for napping. On the back deck, sits a couple of iron rocking chairs, bench seating, and a four-seater outdoor dining table. These outdoor seating areas overlook the spacious backyard and seasonal steam. We've added a short fence that can be pulled out to block-off the deck area so that your pups can enjoy the view with you. A gas BBQ sits around the side of the house.
𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘰𝘳 𝘋𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘛𝘰𝘸𝘯
Idyllbrook is centrally located near the village of Idyllwild. The cabin sits just under a mile (.9 to be exact) from Café Aroma at the North end of town, or head south down South Circle and your walk will be the same distance to the new Idyllwild Brewpub and Fairway Market at the South end. Be sure to save some energy for the journey back as coming home is uphill. Live it up in town without worrying about having to drive home later, as there is no Uber or Lyft in our mountains.

𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦𝐬
Weekends require a 2 night minimum, holiday and event weekends are 3-4 night minimum. Though our typical nightly minimum is two nights, three or four-night minimums do exist on specific dates regardless of holidays. Every booking will go under review before being accepted and we will reach out to you if your desired dates have a longer nightly minimum. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility in advance!

Please note the cabin has no “cable tv” (we cut that cord…) however the Roku has apps for streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and more.
𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬
We've collaborated with our cleaning crew to follow best practices for our industry. To keep our guests and staff safe, we are bleaching linens, towels, and triple-sheeting bed comforters. We have also sourced Health Technology Triple Two disinfectant cleaner that has been pre-approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use against COVID-19 for disinfecting and cleaning all surfaces, especially commonly handled items such as tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, desks, toilets, and sinks. We also have antibacterial hand and dish soap for your use.
𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦
We require our own Rental Agreement and Pre-Arrival form to be filled out before arrival. Riverside County also requires that we collect a copy of your Driver's License or other government ID, the pre-arrival form will have a place for you to upload a photo of your ID. We will send you these items upon accepting your booking.
𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬
✤ 𝑵𝒐 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒓 𝑼𝒏𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒔. This is NOT a party house. Parties will result in immediate eviction. Please respect city-wide quiet hours from 10pm to 7am daily. Riverside County requires us to have a noise decibel monitor that will alert us if high noise levels are sustained for a long period of time. The monitor does not record any noise, it only measures decibels so your privacy is maintained.
✤ 𝑵𝒐 𝑺𝒎𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈. No smoking anywhere on the property, inside or outside. We reserve the right to retain some or all of your security deposit should this rule be broken.
