Beautiful surroundings which the were fantastic for walking the dog. Trim track could do with bit of maintenance for safety reasons. Our villa was in a good spot and had all we needed apart from Hairdryer which seemed to have disappeared as the box was there empty. "Overall, we had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The room was small but clean. It was hot, and there was no air conditioning, but at least a ventilator was provided. There was a squeaky hallway door right outside our room, which was quite inconvenient. The electric shower water heater was unreliable and constantly fluctuated between cold and hot. The staff was very friendly, and the selection of doughnuts and cakes was absolutely delicious."

"The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

"As soon as we entered the room and opened the bathroom door there was an awful smell of wet dirty rag and the floor was wet. A member of staff offered to apply some airfreshner which did not solve the problem at all, it just hid it for a while. I think it was the bathtub drain. Remote controls were sticky and they wiped them after requested.
