Good morning and sorry for that ! We have central air condition but the 38 degrees and the smoke brought our AC down to its knees... Usually we rarely see our AC kicking in as it cools down at night and that holds nicely inside. But this combination of heat and smoke is a different game. Dear guests, thanks so much for your nice review - it's great to hear that you guys liked our place and your suite. We tried hard to make the hot tub accessible for all our guests, but ended up appointing it to the suite that has the bedrooms right there. Whenever that suite is not booked we offer all guests to enjoy the hot tub although that doesn't happen very often in July and August. Dear Gary, thanks a lot for your review. We are happy to hear that you liked the views from the Eagles Nest. We changed our setup from B&B to vacation rental (without breakfast) one year ago. Unfortunately we got a lot of great reviews for our breakfast and many guests book us for that reason. To avoid any disappointments all guests get the information about the change with their reservation confirmation. The shower curtains have been replaced and we thank you for letting us know about the issues with the former ones. Since our views are spectacular we wanted to keep the wide and open style of the room and therefore didn't install blinds or thick curtains. During the summer months we provide our guests with sleeping masks though. The hot tub belongs to the Bear suite exclusively. We hope you will give us another try. Best regards, Kathrin&Rolf
