"This house has absolutely everything you could need for a short getaway to fun folly beach. It's well equipped with top appliances. It was impeccably clean and the furniture was cozy and comfortable. Sitting outside in the shade of the beautiful trees was a dream. And the best part of this house was the location. We are a young couple, and took a couple days to refresh away from the kids and really treasured being able to walk to every bar and restaurant to soak in the vibe of Folly. At night...

"This was our fifth year of staying on Isle of Palms and renting a house on Ocean Blvd. This house was perfect and fit our group's needs so well. "The Lucky Penny worked out great for our family! Everyone enjoyed the house and the pool. It's only a block away from the ocean, so we were easily able to enjoy the beach as well! The only issue with the online listing is that it did not include a layout of each floor. However, the layout ended up working perfectly for our families."

"Our friends had a great time. The rooms are small other than the master, and be prepared to handle the quirks of being on a boat, but this is definitely a stay you won’t forget!"

"I was charged for damage that absolutely was not there when we checked out. I suppose in the future I need to take a video walk through before I check out. The master bedroom had protective edging on a corner wall that would repeatedly fall off. I would simply place it back on the corner using the baseboard as leverage. In my eyes it simply needed glued back on permanently. Three days after checkout I received a text message stating that I would be charged for drywall damage. I explained...

"The property was so cute and the perfect size for me. I stayed in the B unit. The bed was so comfortable and the house was spotless. Only a 20 minute, super easy, walk from downtown and there was even a really nice coffee shop two blocks away for morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches. 10/10 highly recommend this spot"

"Stayed here 5/31-6/7/25 with my 3 sons and their families. We had a great week. The house is very close to the beach and we enjoyed the pool in early evenings. The beds were very comfortable. "A very cozy and clean experience, from start to finish. The one concern we had going into this was the shared bathroom, however, it was well maintained and clean throughout the entire trip. Communication with the property manager was fast and thorough every time! 10/10 would recommend to anyone going to Charleston. "
