This was my 5th trip to the island, which I absolutely love and will return to again soon — unfortunately, I won’t be staying here next time.The location is truly prime. You can walk almost anywhere within minutes, and the surrounding properties are well cared for. With some TLC and proper cleaning, this place could really shine.However, the condition of the apartment was very disappointing. It is not new and feels quite dated and in disrepair. The entry area was very dirty, and overall the unit felt unclean. The kitchen had dirty dishes upon arrival. The ceiling fans were rusted and looked disgusting. The shower sprayed awkwardly, the drain was gross, and there were multiple missing tiles in the bathroom.The listing mentions a private balcony, but it is actually shared. There was also no sliding door handle on the outside, making it difficult to open and close. One bedroom had no blanket, and I had to request one twice. There was no bath mat in one bathroom, and the one provided was the size of a hand towel.The furniture did not match the description. It advertises a full futon suitable for two people, but instead there is a wooden sofa with a very thin pad. The listing states there are four kitchen chairs, but there are only two chairs and two wooden counter stools. The beds have very uncomfortable pillows.There were bugs, which I understand can happen in a tropical climate, so I can overlook that.
