"Situated in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, and the ocean, the cottage offered a perfect balance of comfort, privacy and convenience. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed being able to read, write, and bird watch on the private balcony that overlooks a tranquil garden. On-street parking was readily available anytime of day and check-in/check-out was easy as pie. Many thanks to Mark and Marty for being excellent hosts! Hope to see you again...

"We needed a place for a nice and relaxing rest for one night and this place was just that. We enjoyed the welcome margaritas in the quaint backyard upon arrival. It felt private which we appreciated. There were decent restaurants and coffee shops walking distance and the beach was a quick easy walk as well. Thanks for a nice stay!"

"Very nice. Owners thought of everything we might have needed. If you have mobility issues this wouldn’t be the place. Stairs to get in. Loved the view and didn’t hear much from outside as they have great windows. You will be very happy here."

"We enjoyed the proximity to parks, the zoo, downtown, soccer stadium, the airport, etc. The host was great to deal with. The property needs some tlc. The awning in the yard which shows in the picture was lying on the ground, there was no tray for the dish rack, the bedroom closet door was off the slider and the cabinet under the TV in the living room was partly broken. "The apartment was withing walking distance of the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and souvenir shops. We were able to easily drive into downtown San Diego for other activities that we were interested in. The only thing I was disappointed with was there was not any air conditioning. We are from a colder climate and found that part uncomfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in CA. This will likely be the last time we will spend a vacation with just our little family as our kiddo's are...

"Owners communicated all the important information very well! The property was clean and ready early! She gave great recommendations of places to eat as well as places to go see! Loved the games they had, even though we brought some to play. Only “complaint” we would even have, which is NOT a complaint at all is it would be nice if there was more light in the living room. We will definitely stay here again!!!"

"O quarto do hotel é excelente, mas não tem nenhum serviço de cômoda. Chegamos tarde da noite, com fome e não tinha absolutamente nada para pedir no hotel. Ficamos 3 noites e o quarto não foi limpo nenhum dia. Na primeira noite O vaso sanitário vazou e espalhou água pelo quarto todo. Além disso, o único elevador do hotel estava com defeito e tivemos que subir as malas e descer na saída sem nenhuma ajuda. "
