Proximity to the beach, supermarket/liquor store and Placencia beach club make this a fantastic find. The pictures don’t do it justice……. Mae was very communicative and provided a detailed and accurate orientation package , with easy checkin and great directions , with numerous recommendations for local eats ....

"This property was better than I anticipated. AC worked wonderfully and had a ceiling fan if you prefer outside air. It was clean and had everything you would expect for a hotel in the states for those of us who are used to such amenities as a coffee maker, with all the accoutrements. A small fridge and plenty is space to unpack for an extended stay. Close to the beach, shops and great places to eat and enjoy night life! "Our stay at Honu was awesome. The location was perfect. It was a little outside of Placencia and Maya Beach which was great. Quiet area right on the beach. The pool was awesome to have. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you needed. Check-in was really easy. Someone met us there on the day and let us in and showed us around. Could ask for a better ending to our trip"

"What an amazing place right on the beach. We were the only ones stay at the beach property. Loved the lounge chairs, hammock, kayaks. Had communication problems with the property manager at times. No one around upon arrival and no instructions for wifi and TV. He did make arrangements for private snorkeling and fishing tours. The place does not have a hot tub as listed in amenities. The location is ideal at the quiet end of the sidewalk."

"Very unique location for a home to rent. Almost all others in the area is hotels. On the boardwalk and walkable to a lot of restaurants and bars. Keyless entry, that manually locks. Furniture was not clean. Shower burning hot, but there is an outdoor shower. "

"Great house, right on the ocean. Our kids were all stung by jellyfish plus with the seaweed we ended up utilizing the pool a good bit rather than swimming in the ocean. The paddle boards were great to have. The location is about 25 mins from Placencia Village, where the majority of good restaurants and grocery stores are. "This is a very cool little cluster of cabanas and a bar/restaurant on a legit TINY island. The staff is great, the food is decent, and the snorkeling could be better, but overall it was a fun stay. We were the only ones staying on the island, which was pretty cool."
