Walking distance to 4 great swimming lakes!

Enjoy hiking, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, stunning sunsets, or just relaxing on our very private covered patio with views of Pender Harbour.
Located in very quiet, peaceful community of Garden Bay. Kayak rentals available at Alpha Adventures in Madeira Park, just 15 minutes away.

Must be comfortable with dogs as we have 2 very friendly, welcoming 4 legged furry hosts

*we welcome a maximum a maximum of 2 (two) fully house-broken dog only - under 25 pounds please.
*No pets on furniture please*

This is a 3 story house. Vacation rental is on middle (main floor). Your hosts Dave and Michelle occupy upstairs. Basement/ground floor below is unoccupied/storage area..

This place is fantastic, comfy and cosy, it has everything you need for a great getaway. Dave and Michelle are great hosts, friendly and welcoming, and I recommend trying Michelle’s food, the Shrimp Pad Thai was outstanding! Hopefully we will be back so we can also try Dave’s baking next time!

Dave & Michelle's place is awesome. This place is stunning, as are the ocean views from the deck. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything anyone could want. We spent four nights here and could have stayed more. There are so many lakes in the area, and it is so beautiful in Garden Bay. Dave makes a great cinnamon bun and Michelle has some of the best Asian food we have eaten. You must try these. Communication was great and we can't wait to return.

We had an amazing stay in the suite! It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals, which was a huge plus. The view from the suite was absolutely stunning — a perfect way to start and end each day.One evening, we decided to try the host’s catering company, TL’s Metal Catering, and the food was incredible. So convenient and delicious!We also spent time at the nearby lakes, which were easy to access and surprisingly warm — perfect for a relaxing day out.Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway!

Awesome. Simply awesome. It’s a great area and Dave & Michelle were marvellous. And Michelle is a helluva chef if you’re lucky enough to get a happy hour treat from her! So much to do and the accommodation is comfortable, clean and perfect for a getaway on the Sunny Coast.

5 stars Perfect and Beautiful vacation home

We really enjoyed our stay at Dave’s place. He is a very attentive, helpful and friendly. This home is located on a peaceful and beautiful scenery area. The house is clean , beds are comfortable, and the place is decorated nicely. Views from the patio is so beautiful that we can spend a relaxing afternoon tea there. This vacation home is highly recommended to stay. Activities points are close by. So convenient. THANKS Dave for being the best host we have ever met!

Summer’s end oasis

We loved our stay from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with warmth and friendliness as we walked through the unit. The space is very well appointed, very clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we could possibly need at our disposal. The views along with the sounds of loons and crickets were so relaxing Even a family of deer in the yard to enjoy. Comfortable beds, sofas and patio furniture along with the hamac made this stay fabulous!

Great stay!

This home is well appointed for larger groups. We really enjoyed our stay here. Michelle and Dave are friendly and accommodating. The area is easy walking distance to Hotel lake - good swimming and SUPing. There are SO many lakes near and tons of trails for walking and biking. We’d stay again in a moment!

Garden Bay Stay

When we arrived at the property we were greeted by one the owners who was super friendly, and it gave us all the wow factor with the views of the ocean and peacefulness. The problems we had with the property was the cleanliness of it. There was dog feces in the driveway throughout our stay as well as in the yard. The yard was not maintained and unkept looking, in which we never used it. The inside of the property was dirty according to our standards in which we spent the first hours cleaning. There was hair in the fridge, dirty floors including old nail clippings, garbage and recycling within the property which smelled. We washed all the dishes and anything we were going to use throughout the stay, including the fridge.There is no A/C in this property just some fans for each room which was pretty hot with the warm weather they were experiencing. The fan in our room was filthy so we didn't use it. As well the room we were in did not have a window, allowing for fresh air as well made us wonder is this was up to building standards for fire egress. The deck was great for sitting outside and the great area, kitchen and living room was great for sitting and chatting. Overall it was a nice property just needs a little cleaning and maintenance TLC. Would like to see a refund for the cleaning that we all had to do when we arrived.

Great spot, great place.

We had a great stay! Can't wait to be here again. Hosts are accomodating, kind, and helpful. Very comfortable living space. Beautiful view of inlet. Very close to lakes (walked to one first day). The hosts also do chinese food. We didn't get a chance to try it, but will for sure next time! They also make VERY delicious dessert...highly recommend! Full service situation, you'll never have to leave.

Just like home!

Dave and Michelle have equip this place just like home - there is everything you need to be very comfortable (plus they were very accommodating to our needs - they even had a air pump to fill my son’s football!). The location is excellent with a view out of this world! It was very hot during our visit, so we really enjoyed the 3 lakes close by - Hotel Lake is within walking distance and Katherine Lake has a really nice beach. The Traeger pellet grill was the icing on the cake - we cooked most meals it and enjoyed our visits on the shaded balcony (which as a hammock)!

Exceeded our expectations!

We had such a lovely stay that we ended up staying an extra night. Would have stayed longer if we could. Suite was spacious and comfortable, appreciated the black-out blinds in the bedrooms. Deck and bbq were great. Michelle and Dave were great hosts. And we found out Michelle is a great cook and we ordered Chinese food take out from her which was delicious. Hotel Lake was a short walk away and really enjoyable. All in all a great place to stay!

Glorious Sunshine Coast Getaway

This place is a gem. Three comfortable bedrooms, three bathrooms, cozy and congenial lounging areas, a well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities...all spotlessly clean. What more could you ask? Quiet surroundings and a beautiful view? You've got it, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay and would highly recommend Dave and Michelle as hosts.
