"For a 3 Star hotel the stay was not to bad the staff were good and polite The cooked breakfast was good The only draw back was after the last night stay my partner removed the bedding as she all ways has done when we live our hotel my partner noticed that the mattress cover was badly/heavy stained with body fluids coffee or tea ect ect we reported it to the reception asked for the manager but she was unavailable ,filled in a how did we do card and made a reference to the problem about the...

"What a lovely room. A bed you could sink into, even though my husband prefers a firmer bed I thought it was great. Loved the Character of the place so much history. Menu looked good but unfortunately we weren’t there to eat an evening meal. Ooh! but having stayed in many hotels this had the best and most perfectly cooked English Breakfast I have ever had. Even better than mine and that’s saying something. Staff were very friendly and I would be very happy to recommend anyone to stay here."
