"I expected that the cabin would be ruined from the flood. I called a day or so before I was due to arrive when I got an automatic message about arrival. "We had a wonderful stay at City on a Hill in Fredericksburg, TX! The cabin was cozy, private, and perfect for a weekend getaway from all the noise. We especially loved the jacuzzi, the well-equipped kitchenette, and the peaceful view of the creek and sky from the back patio. It was everything we needed to relax and recharge. "My husband and I came to Fredericksburg for a short stay to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. The bed was comfortable, and the small unit had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The only thing we would like for it to have been ideal is a corner floor lamp, or better ambient light. We are both readers, and the lighting in the living room was not conducive to that.
