"It was quiet and good area for stargazing . Owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a flat tire and they were very helpful in being able to air it up. We plan to return for more stargazing. Got wonderful pictures of the Perseids meteor shower,as well as the Heart Nebula."

"The assortment of deer, axis, fallow, and antelope was so cool! We fed some out of our hands! The cabin was adorable and the grounds were very nicely kept! Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!"

"The setting of this cabin was very peaceful and beautiful. The cabin itself was charming and comfortable. I would use caution with young children, though. The shabby country chic easthetic includes apparently repurposed corrugated metal panels low on the bathroom wall with screw holes that are quite jagged and could easily slice flesh if contacted. Otherwise, the decor is very charming. We had a great time on the walking trail and enjoyed the interesting rocks and wildflowers. This is the kind...

"Absolutely by far the best decision we ever made was to book this cabin. Cabin was clean, hosts met me and showed me around and gave me fresh free range eggs for breakfast. I spent the majority of my time sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch with my dog and enjoying nature and the wildlife. I was sad to have to come home! If traveling the the Mountain Home/Kerrville area, Cowboy's and Angels Retreat is a must stay!"

"This little place feels anything but little. It’s absolutely adorable! Clean, well maintained with plenty of space for your pet in the fenced yard. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. "Adorable little studio with sweetest, little private courtyard. Easy, convenient parking. FULLY stocked with anything you could need (I happened to forget my toothbrush and there was brand new one available, just in case). Ice machine works! Location is amazing! Minutes walk to downtown Kerrville which has awesome food, coffee, and shopping. 10/10! A must booking!"
