The Space:
We are thrilled to announce that this unit is now equipped with state-of-the-art Dyson hair dryers. Whether youā€™re preparing for a day of exploration or an evening out, enjoy the convenience and sophistication of a salon-quality hairdryer right in the comfort of your unit. Itā€™s just one of the many ways weā€™re elevating your experience with CHC Vacation Rentals.

This Suite is a peaceful and private apartment for two. Sleep comfortably in a queen size bed and relax in the cozy living area. The kitchenette includes a full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction cooktop, dinnerware, and basic cooking tools. Please note that there is no dishwasher or traditional oven.

Guest Access:
This is a private apartment with it's own separate entrance. Guests have access to the shared courtyard, patio, and heated swimming pool.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is considered the most upcoming area on the peninsula. The neighborhood is perfect for a couple or a group who is looking to fully embrace Charleston's unique charm. Step right outside your door and find a wonderfully curated mix of shops, bars, bakeries, and dining. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Island Provisions before exploring King Street, Charleston's ultimate epicenter of shops and restaurants, which is just one short block from the property. Our guests have a wide selection of walkable dinner options, some of our favorites include Chez Nous, Chubby Fish, Bistronomy by Nico, and Vern's. Come experience all that our beautiful city has to offer!

Getting Around:
Charleston is a walking city! Uber is widely available. If guests do have a car, we provide ONE (1) off-street parking space. We suggest bringing an economy size vehicle to help with getting around Charleston's narrow downtown streets.

Great Service, Excellent Location!

Overall, this was a great experience and a great place to stay. It is located in a very ideal spot if you are not from around the area! You are very close to King Street shopping and many great restaurants. The place is very clean and maintained. The courtyard and pool is fantastic to relax in. The services provided by the hosts are amazing as well. Very responsive to any texts or emails in a timely manner and always ready to help. We will be back very soon!

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with my fiancĆ©. We were walking distance from king street and able to walk to dinner every night. Itā€™s a beautiful and secluded little area that is perfect for couples

Great space!

Great space that was quintessential Charleston! Lovely lap pool that was relaxing and zen. We didn't anticipate quite so many stairs in this particular unit (I'm a fit almost 60, hubs is a fit 72!). All in all we give it a 5 star review, they even had a bottle of wine for us upon arrival! We would totally stay here again.

Wedding weekend getaway

The perfect setup for a wedding weekend! My boyfriend was able to work remote in the space provided while I was involved in bridesmaid duties. The outdoor deck area was enjoyed with the complimentary bottle of wine provided. We also picked up Holey City Bagels, recommended by the host, and enjoyed them in the courtyard area. A very quiet, secluded spot with tons of charmā€”loved the French doors in our suite. Only point of improvement Iā€™d say would be that it was a bit dusty in the suite. Will definitely stay again!

Cozy Charleston Hideaway

This is a beautiful, modern suite, with a very comfortable bed. As a 70-ish couple, we are in nimble enough condition to navigate the way from the car-park to our accomodation, through the passages and steps and staircase; it reminded me of our guided tour through some of Charleston's narrow alleys & streets! (Those desiring a level walk from their car should think twice). Our only concern was the inability to adjust the thermostat (it requires a passcode that should be offered to guests). Also, I like the convenience of this spot to the major routes in and out of town; only having to navigate a few blocks of the old city streets.

Very clean, updated property

This property was spotless. It appeared to be recently remodeled, which was very nicely done. The staff was super helpful and accommodating, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the peaceful secluded pool. We would absolutely stay here again. The only thing I see for potential improvement is once you get large luggage into the unit, it is pretty tight. Not sure what could be done about this, but if you have large luggage as we did, you will be stepping around and over it. Also be forewarned: it is at the end of an uneven cobblestone alley, down a narrow walkway and up a tall set of stairs; if you have mobility issues, this is not the one for you.

Unique experience

Love the location of this property right off King Street and yet quiet private courtyard space with heated salt water pool. Room and interior space very comfortable for 2 with very quick and attentive service. We are a repeat customer and will return again!

We found the efficiency as listed. It was small as expected but clean and comfortable. The pool was a nice feature once you managed to get to it! Not right at the bottom of your entry steps as it appears in the pics. Disappointing that you did not supply even the smallest amount of dish soap, sponge, dish towel, hot mitt, etc. Oh, let's not forget that you can't adjust the thermostat on your own! You need to call, and they will adjust it for you! Other than that, the interior of the listing was acceptable at best. Entry into the property is another story! It was horrible! OK, there was a new roof being installed when we arrived and had to climb over all the torn off shingles and trash carrying a weeks worth of supplies! I was waiting to get a nail in my foot! We should have been warned & we would have delayed our entry. I understand this is an historical area which is exactly why we were there but the entry to the property was horrendous! Anyone with the slightest mobility issues would never make it up to the property. Many uneven steps and turns everywhere! Some steps 12" high! The best part was the old flower bed or whatever that was immediately around one of the corners to enter. If you forgot it was there you were falling flat on your face! Due to all the uneven steps & corridors to enter there were patio lights almost everywhere to light your way, but this made for a daytime experience inside the property when you were trying to sleep. I cannot give this property a 5* rating by any means.
