"Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. "

The wait staff was exceptional as well. The food was excellent, the setting idyllic, and location walkable to The Chatsworth House! "Old hotel which could do with some TLC, but then prices would have to rise significantly. Big room. Decent sized bathroom. Shower over bath. Shower pressure very good. Cosy little bar area. Lovely setting, easy walking distance to/from town centre. Good range of eateries and bars in town. All staff very nice. Would definitely book this hotel again."

"When I booked the hotel I got the impression that there was parking there. When we arrived I went into ask where the parking was I was given a map and told to park in a residential street "5 minutes walk away". There were some public parking spaces outside and opposite the hotel (only one space opposite when we arrived) but the signs indicated it was maximum of 4 hours so we did park in one of the residential streets suggested. That night when someone checked in we heard the member of hotel...

"The room was very beautiful and clean. Staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, and helped us with our heavy luggage without hesitation. Within five minutes of our arrival, we were welcomed with fresh tea, and our room had complimentary cakes! "My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb."
