"Absolutely fantastic property. Messaging the owner was simple, with quick responses. Great neighborhood. Easy 5 minute walk (downhill) to shops, pubs and restaurants. A little longer (and more work) back up the hill. Extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable. Easy to get to local estates and attractions. If renting a car, get the smallest you can as the streets in and around Bakewell are very narrow. Would rent again!"

"Lovely, lovely, little Lathkil. At first, we feared Google was taking us into the wilds of Derbyshire never to be seen again. How wrong we were; Lathkil, originally The Miner's Arms (1828), is a delightful, cosy, and beautifully done up gem. Views of the dales, and of grazing sheep. Easy access to walking trails. Good food. Friendly hosts. Beware: steep steps to the guest rooms. Would definitely revisit. walking paths, and the hospitality. "
