"We did enjoy are stay. The setting is private & peaceful. It would have been perfect except for a few things. There were no reviews when we booked as it was a new listing. There were some important truths missing from the listing at the time. Hopefully it has since been updated so others will know what they are in for & can make a more informed choice. Things to know: there is no electricity. The lights in the pictures are from solar panels; there is a very cool outdoor shower but it is cold...

"The only toilet facilities was a porta potty which smelled and looked like it had not been emptied in months. Shower did not have a way to lock the door of the only shower, to keep others out. We did not have cell phone reception because of the mountains and no way to contact the owner. No one was around to check us in."

"This space had everything we needed. The camper was clean and well stocked with all the amenities to make yourself comfortable. The outdoor area was secluded and perfect to sit and enjoy the solitude and peace of nature. The hot tub was our little girl's favorite spot and great for relaxing after we spent the day hiking. Every single detail is well thought out to make this the ideal place to escape to and enjoy the Sylva area."

"This is a fantastic location. Nice, quiet, and plenty of room to roam around. If the weather would have been a little more favorable, we would have enjoyed spending more time outdoors. But, overall, it was great. The host is top notch and VERY accommodating. Im sure we will be back in the near future."

"My husband and I have stayed here 2 years in a row for our anniversary. It’s is wonderful and secluded. We enjoy the view and love sitting out by the river/creek. We don’t ever have to bring anything. There are even all items to cook with. We will def be back! "

"It was a cozy stay, I didn't expect to be as close as I was to others, other than that it was a nice jolt of camping and spot to place a tent. I just am not used to seeing others when camping and I might of missed that when looking at the listing, very nice place!"
