"We loved our stay and only wish it could have been longer. It's a beautiful space under 15 minutes from the main attractions of Saratoga Springs, but it's like an oasis--beautiful space, very comfortable room with a beautiful bathroom, gorgeous patio to eat customized breakfast, and garden to enjoy. If we had more time we would have enjoyed the trails and more of the outdoor space. We were without a car but had no problems getting Lyfts or taxis to the space, and Alison was a wonderful host. "Historical B&B in a beautiful location on the Mohawk River, we had a great stay here. The place is filled with awesome antiques acquired by proprietors John and Pam over 30 years. The inn dates back to the 1800's and four U.S. Presidents have stayed here. Located 22 minutes from Saratoga Racetrack and 45 minutes from Lake George, we loved being able to explore the area and return to this quiet inn. "We loved our stay! If possible, having different breakfast options each day might make longer stays a bit better, rather than the same menu each day. I’d recommend a manager’s “reception” each night with wine, cheese, fruit, etc. The house is definitely made for entertaining. Also, while the soaps in the bathroom were nice, switching to a spa brand might also make it a bit nicer. Our room, the Maria Pia was very comfortable and it was nice hanging out in the common areas. "Tina was very friendly and showed us around the b&b when we arrived. Breakfast was very good, especially the blueberry pancakes, and the room comfortablr and very clean. The only downside is the neighbourhood which is not very nice, however it's not far from the city centre but you wouldn't want to walk there at night time."
