Apartamentos em Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, VA

"First there was a refundable fee due at check in that I was not made aware of until AFTER I booked. It was refunded without issue. It was nice to have a physical key for the room instead of electronic. Heavy doors, sturdy stairs. I never heard anyone else while we were there. Location and parking were excellent. The bathroom and room were better in person than photos which was very nice. Owner was friendly, very chatty. I’ve read negative things about his wife- but I had no complaints. She just...

"Have to go to sister hotels for breakfast, sauna, other amenities. A/C in my room was broken, had to switch rooms. Windows didn’t open in room. Otherwise it was fine and close to beach. Have to pay extra for housekeeping."

"Simple lodging on the ICW across from the Coinjock restaurant. Sit back and watch the dolphins and boats pass by."

"This place is always perfect for us. Thank you!"

"Booked for weekend retreat with my daughter. Provides enough room comfortably for 4 couples or more. Provides all the amenities of home minus the warm toilet seat. We enjoyed our weekend of relaxation and the beach. Great views from the balcony, easy access to the beach and a restaurant on site."

"Impressed with the whole experience. "

"My wife, my two boys, and myself had a great Labor Day Weekend! This place was awesome and very great for kids. They lived the playground on the beach that was very close, and their new dream catchers from the store downstairs! "

"It was a clean room, nice bed, good distance from everything, and host was very easy to get in contact with! We only stayed for one night, but everything was great :) There is a coffee station which was really nice."

"This property was comfortable and clean, with easy parking, and a quiet street. We chose it because of the balcony overlooking the water, we enjoyed sitting there in evening and morning, watching the boats go by."

"It was okay, mostly. The room was old and dated. It smelled bad; my wife said it smelled like a wet dog. The View was exceptional and I'm surprised that the listing didn't have any pictures of it, that I remember. In fact, we weren't sure what the view is going to be like even though it said Oceanside. That can sometimes be deceiving. A description of "Oceanfront" would be better. The staff did their job but that's about it. They neither greeted us when we left or came each time. We are used to...

"Very clean property and process. Ocean view was amazing! Great communication!"

"Call ahead to make sure your room has been cleaned. I had to stay in another room and I arrived only ifor the second day of my two day booking. It was obvious the people had just vacated and it was 10:30 at night."

"Entire place was dirty and smelled horrible. Rooms were not clean"
