"Best old fashioned hospitality vacation rental ever! We loved the updated historic log cottage and our hosts do VRBO the way it was before corporate rentals took over and furnished everything with IKEA. The art, very well stocked kitchen, and extra touches made our stay stress free and comfortable even in sub zero temps with a crazy windstorm. The tree in the front was blown over and Lee had it cleaned up in less than half a day while we were out and it wasn’t even in the way (thank God)....

"I like this lodge very much! Just 10-15 minutes drive from the hotel and 20-30 minutes drive to the murphy dome where I saw the perfect aurora. The lodge is like a refuge from the outside world, queit and cozy, everything inside is clean and easy to use. If I want to visit Alaska again, this lodge would be one of the most important reason."
