"What an incredible, clean and cozy cabin. We stayed as a family - parents and 3 kids, 14-11. Easy to find, easy check-in and check-out. It was obvious the hosts care for the property, their guests and making sure Alaska is well-represented. The Talkeetna town is close and adorable. We cooked, sat by the fire, read and watched movies. "We enjoyed a relaxing couple of days at the Mountain View Retreat. We enjoyed the snacks (especially the muffins) and relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the view. We checked out a couple of the restaurants the host recommended, and were pleased with both. The space was just right for our family of four, and we appreciated the cozy fireplace to take the chill off of rainy fall days.
