Three bedrooms (sleeps 6) and 2 bathrooms.
Private large electrically heated (winter Nov- March*) covered swimming pool.
High perimeter wall affording unusually high degree of privacy yet with stunning mountain views!
Huge outside barbecue, teak patio furniture and 6 x quality Sunbeds.
2 x Separate Outdoor-Sofa Areas - each with covered Pergolas - providing shade from the sun - and perfect for evening drinks Al Fresco…
Patio doors from both lounge and master bedroom to large shaded/covered veranda combined with extensive patio area.
No stairs!

Through-lounge/dining room with SMART TV (UK & RTE Stations & SKY SPORTS).
Optional air-Conditioning (newly replaced from Sept ‘23) available in both the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom and also available in the living room - payable by meter.
Now with TWO outdoor sofa covered seating areas - at both the Patio & the BBQ area.
Selection of books, cot, high chair and steriliser - all available at NO EXTRA COST!!

The pool is electrically heated - at no extra charge - during winter months (01 Nov-31 March inclusive). The temperature is digitally pre-set to 29 degrees - as any warmer can make swimming uncomfortable.
From April to October electric heating is not required as the pool will also average high-twenties just by using the thermal pool-cover at night.

The overall condition of the house did not meet the standard we would reasonably expect. Many elements were clearly old and worn: outdated kitchen appliances, an oven with completely worn markings, a coffee machine that leaked water, an old fridge, and kitchen cupboards and cutlery that were not clean and had to be washed before use. Towels were old, worn and had an unpleasant smell, suggesting they had not been properly cleaned.Additionally, although air conditioning and heating were advertised as included, we were informed shortly before arrival that they operated with coins. Given the cold temperatures and poor insulation, this significantly affected our comfort during the stay.

We had a brilliant weeks stay here at Casa Katie. The villa is beautiful and the pool is perfect. Beds are very comfortable too, felt like a home from home! Location is great, we were worried staying in a villa for the first time would make us feel a bit far out compared to to all inclusive hotels we usually stay in but it was the perfect balance! We hired a car for days out during the day and of an evening we walked down to the sea front for our evening meals and entertainment. The Aldi around the corner was great too. Would highly recommend staying here, Eimear is a great host. X

We really enjoyed our stay, the outside space and pool area is wonderful. We did have issues with ants in the master ensuite and the kitchen. The kitchen is rather tired and would benefit from a refresh and a dishwasher.The owner is very helpful, attentive, with great communication and I believe the kitchen/utility is about to go through a refurb. TV and WIFI excellent and the local Aldi is a godsend. Thanks Eimear, we would definitely stay again!

Eimear is an excellent host, all the information we needed was received in good time and the online description was 100% accurate.The pride she takes in the property is clearly evident. Clean, comfortable and spacious with everything we needed for our stay.The outside area is superb. A choice of seating areas and a great pool plus ample space for sun-worshippers. Best villa we have stayed in and would certainly recommend to friends and family.

Very dirty and tired kitchen. Ants crawling out of the light sockets in the kitchen and cockroaches in the lounge. Electrics and plumbing not in good order. Crack in ensuite vanity sink. A shame as despite not great location the outside area of the villa was nice. The new outside towels being trialled were from the H10 hotel! All rather disappointing to be honest and when we complained the owner did not acknowledge there was a problem with her “luxury villa”. I would recommend giving this one a miss.

A lovely villa, in a quiet area.

We stayed here for 10 days. Communication from Eimear was brilliant from booking to after the visit. The villa is located on the edge of town, making it a nice quiet area. But this does not mean its isolated, as the local amenities are very good, even if you don't have a car. The new Aldi store is a few minutes walk and town is only a 5 minute drive. Local taxi's are great, to and from the villa (but make sure you pronounce Bonilla correctly when booking). The cooking facilities and BBQ are great, but if you don't want to spend your holiday cooking there are some lovely restaurants only a taxi ride away. The clean pool is a great temperature to cool off, or to have a late dip. Washing machine is a god send, and clothes dry off on the line within an hour or two, thanks to the combined Lanzarote heat and breeze. I would recommend this place if you want a quiet and chilled holiday, but also if you have a family that want to spend most of the time at home, either in or by the pool.

Perfect Stay

We had a great stay at Casa Katie.The location was peaceful and not too far from shops and restaurants. Eimear was really helpful and checked in on us after bad weather reports. The outside pool area is perfect for a family, we enjoyed our walks into the town and to all the restaurants. We hired a car but hardly used it. We will definitely be re-booking Casa Katie when we return to Lanzarote.

Brilliant family stay

Great villa, with amazing outdoor areas. For us with 3 young children it was perfect with the pool and always shaded areas. Very private and a nice distance away from the crowds but walkable to the restaurants at night. Eimear was super at communications and answering any queries really quickly. Only slight negative.was the thin curtains in one of the twin rooms and no blinds on some small windows in the other - just have to enjoy working to Spanish timings.

Lovely stay at Villa Katie

We have just returned from a week at Villa Katie. It is a lovely villa, the nicest we have stayed in at Playa Blanca. The whole process from booking to check-out was really easy. Eimear was a great host and replied to any queries very quickly. The outside space is great and the pool is crystal clear. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Casa Katie. Everything we needed was supplied in the accommodation. A very spacious patio With plenty of seating. A good sized pool. It is a 10 minute walk down to Playa Dorado but we had a hire car and used that to go down and back a couple of times a day.

Fun in the winter sun

We have just arrived home from a wonderful stay at Casa Katie. The villa was perfect for our family of 6 with children ranging from under 2 to 14 years of age. Equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and a heated pool that actually felt warm. Perfectly located a little out of town but within easy walking distance (15-20 mins) to the seafront, shops and restaurants of Playa Blanca. Eimear was a wonderful host, excellent communication from the booking process right through to the end of our stay and nothing was too much trouble. We looking forward to staying at Casa Katie again next year and would highly recommend.

Casa funzionale e comoda negli spazi, pulizia degli interni, esterni e piscina da migliorare. Abbiamo avuto due problemi seri (corto circuito e boiler rotto) sistemati con tempestività. Per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato ci saremmo aspettati una location perfetta, consigliamo un totale cambio di mobilio.

A wonderful stay

Family holiday

We had a lovely stay. This villa is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants etc. Our boys don’t like to sit in the sun but the lounge was comfortable and there’s plenty of comfortable areas to sit in the shade.

An oasis in the sun

This is an amazing property in a beautiful area, Playa Blanca. The property is a perfect size to host a family and the outside space including a large pool is just incredible. Small supermarkets are accessible close by with larger supermarkets available in the centre of town. Easy access to Playa Dorada, Playa Blanca and Rubicón Marina. All beautiful places and well worth a visit. Eimear is fantastic host, the best that we have ever had! I would unreservedly recommend this property to anyone!

Spacious family villa

Lovely villa with plenty of seating areas inside and outside for a family or friends, garden/pool area bigger than it looks in the photographs. Heated pool a perfect temperature in November and the property was very well sheltered and private. Well situated for the Marina and town with easy access by car. Not a criticism of the villa but the noise from the nearby Hotel was obtrusive when the zumba/excerise classes were on in the morning, only for an hour or so but if I was a resident I'd be asking for the PA system to be turned down. Stayed in the area before and not heard it so maybe a one off week? Still, had a great week and would happily book the villa again, one of the best we have stayed in around that area.

Nice all round villa.

The villa is in a good location, approx. 15 minutes walk from sea front and local restaurants. We found scooters the ideal mode of transport and parking areas were a 6 minute walk away and cost @EUR3 to get to the beach. Taxis (if you can find one) cost @EUR4 from the town centre. Villa is generally in a good state of repair and well decorated. The outside space is very spacious and more than adequate for 6 adults. The outside space is what sells this property. Owner was very attentive when problems arose and communicates through e-mail promptly. Air conditioning is payable additionally via a coin operated system so change will be required in the hotter months.

Happy holiday in Casa Katie

Casa Katie is a lovely villa in a nice and quiet area. The outside space is fantastic with dining table, chilling zone, barbecue area and very comfortable sunbeds. The high walls give you a feeling of total privacy. The pool is fabulous, very large and deep and perfectly clean. The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Katie. Thank you very much, Eimear !
