Tucked into a wooded area eight miles south of Yachats, this home is just a short walk from the coast for beachcombing and exploring tide pools, as well as a short drive to Cape Perpetual Scenic Area for wildlife viewing and hiking.

This home has an open floor plan with a living area, a kitchen space, and a single bedroom. Well appointed with comfortable furnishings and maritime decor, the space is bright and inviting with numerous picture windows, knotty pine paneled walls, and wood beam ceilings reminiscent of a ship's hull.

Enjoy modern conveniences like WiFi and a flatscreen TV playing DVDs from a DVD library. There are also board games and a telescope for close-up views of the coast.

Use the well-stocked kitchen's modern appliances to whip up fresh meals. You'll also have plenty of cookware and countertop space for quick and easy meal prep. Eat together at the two-seat dining table, or, if the weather permits, dine al fresco on the outdoor deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of the coast. There's even a gas grill, so fire up it up and have a barbecue!

Up to four guests are accommodated in this home. Get a great night's sleep in the only bedroom, which will accommodate two guests, and use the sofabed to accommodate two more. Dogs are also welcome to come along for an additional nightly pet fee.

Local attractions include three nearby state parks (Cape Perpetual Scenic Area, Yachats State Park, Smelt Sands State Park), and hiking on the Seal Point Trail, which is only 200 yards south of this home. Known as one of the Oregon Coast's best places for agate hunting, Stonefield Beach is also nearby.

Fun day trips abound! Sightsee in Newport (30 miles north), visit the iconic Heceta Head Lighthouse (about six miles south), or drive just a few miles north to check out souvenir shops, quaint eateries, and chat with friendly locals in charming Yachats.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
