"We LOVED the property. Very nice experience to walk out the door onto the beach. For those reading this, I highly recommend going out in morning at low tide, turning left, and walking down to where the Alsea River outlets into the ocean. Lots of harbor seals playing in the water and lounging on the sand. A walk (or short drive) out onto the Alsea Bridge also has super views, with not only more harbor seals but also nesting cormorants. A couple of things we didn't expect that could have gone a...

"The home is large with lots of great space and a great location for beach access. Initially there was no soap in one of the bathrooms but we eventually found extra in other parts of the home. It did not seem that all the oven buttons worked correctly as we could not figure out how to adjust the temperature. The microwave was also awkward to use. This is overall a nice home."

"Several security issues - the front door deadbolt didn’t work. The back slider door didn’t lock - it just had a stick. The owner later told me a stick was the most secure way to lock the door. Nope, a lock is, sir. The upstairs rooms locked from the inside and there was not a key to unlock. There was trash piled up outside. There were not enough blankets and pillows and the pillows had no pillow cases. The list goes on. Worst of all was the customer service. The host was unresponsive. So was the...

"The property had great view off the deck and great access to a beautiful beach. The house itself was great, the owners have gone above and beyond with the extras to make your stay comfortable. I have rented quite a bit with vrbos and this really did exceed my expectations. Owners were also great with communication."

"Had a fantastic weekend with friends, and are already wondering when we can visit again. The location is peaceful, the beach views are excellent, and the kitchen/dining/living space is beautiful, all with clear views of the ocean. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, the beds were comfortable, everything was sparkling clean, and the hosts were gracious and communicative. We loved having such a great home base for exploring that part of the coast."

"This was a lovely home and it was well kept and clean. We came down for my brothers graduation at the University of Oregon, it was about an hour drive. Almost everything that we needed was already there. The beach area, I wish. Would have been a little bit more usable. But it was beautiful nonetheless. I appreciated the home binder with the different menus and activities. My only complaint was that the beach was not very swimmable, other than that loved every bit of it."
