"Enjoyed it all right on the beach.. walking forever with the dog and friend at low tide just out the front door. Fabulous kitchen with a view. Jacuzzi tub in one bathroom, and awesome master bathroom with a view.Then to top it off a rooftop hot tub to star gaze while soaking.There was a little issue at check in and management responded immediately and took care of us so well… everything was perfect"

"It was such a wonderful lovely experience. I got this place for a mini getaway with my parents because it was my father’s birthday. The Manager of the property was super duper accommodating and friendly from the beginning of my stay to the end. I will definitely be back for some more adventures and am happy to have had such a wonderful host! Just want to applaud and thank them for allowing us to stay and enjoy the beach house! "

"Beautiful property and home. Quiet and relaxing. Comfortable bed and fully stocked kitchen with appliances. The only problem is the hot water went out before we got there. Didn't know until we were ready to shower. We actually had to restart the water heater ourselves."

"The Overlook provides a perfect location when staying in Yachats whether for 3 days or for 2 weeks. During our 2 weeks we loved starting each morning with a dog walk to the local sandy beach. Morning coffee and pastry at the Green Salmon was just a block away, as were out-to-eat options at the Luna Fish House and Drift Inn. Plus the grocery story is just a block away. "The location and views are amazing and a great selling point. Very close to beach access and the Oregon Coast trail. The cottage is vintage and funky. Loved it. Kitchen well stocked. I will say that it is time to replace the mattresses. Two of us were not able to sleep in the king bed because it was so saggy. That being said there were plenty of pillows and blankets, and throws for the sofa in the cool of the evening. We enjoyed our stay at Todd’s place! "

"We can't say enough good things about this house. The location is beautiful. The owner provided everything needed for a perfect stay. Its close to so many beaches and hikes that your head spins from the options. There was plenty of firewood available for nighttime campfires in the firepit.The road up to the cabin can be a tad daunting, but in the end, we were ok with a standard 2WD Jetta."
