The front door opens directly out onto the pavement of this charming little Victorian dead end street. Inside is the front sitting room and past the stairs (neatly boxed in) is the kitchen/dinner. French windows lead out to the garden. Upstairs the main bedroom is to the left and the back bedroom is past the bathroom, to the right. A classic two up two down terraced house, except here a short, steep flight of stairs takes you up to a third bedroom.
Guests can rent any (or all) of the three bedrooms. In this case the front bedroom, which has a beautiful bed and a comfy, hard mattress. The bathroom, kitchen/dinner and sitting room are all shared.
The area is really lovely and friendly. If cars do come this far down the lane, they come very slowly. It is narrow and the little houses are all very close. A gate gives access to the recreational ground. There is an excellent play park there with sand pit and zip wire. The supermarket Tesco is a four minute walk and a little further is a traditional Fish and Chip shop.
Windsor Castle and the town centre are a pleasant twenty minutes walk or a little more if you want to walk along a beautiful stretch of the river (drop into the Swan if you do). A shuttle bus goes to Legoland, taking about 20 minutes.
This is perfect for adventurous travellers, wishing to visit Windsor Castle. Couples or family's on holiday or someone just here on busyness.
I grew up in Windsor and lived here with Cami, my wife, when we were first married.
