Comfortable, well located lodge at popular White Cross Bay Holiday Park with access to the Lake

Located on the popular White Cross Bay holiday park, a short drive from Bowness and Ambleside, Grasmere Lodge is perfect for hosting a family holiday. Make use of the range of amenities within the Park, from the playground to the swimming pool and sauna (fees payable), take a short stroll from the Lodge to the shores of Windermere or use it as a great base to explore all the Lake District has to offer. And at the end of an exciting day, why not dine at the on-site restaurant or enjoy a show!

The Lodge:
This lodge is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the reception, dining area, swimming pool and playground. It is all on one level but there are three steps up to the deck. It sleeps 6 in three bedrooms (one king, one twin and one room with custom sized bunk beds only suitable for small children) and there is parking for one car right outside the lodge with further parking near the reception.

Enter the lodge and turn left to the open plan kitchen/diner/living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, gas oven and hob and a fridge/freezer. There is a smart TV in the lounge, a dining table for six in the dining area and doors out to the patio which has outdoor seating. Opposite the front door is the king bedroom which also has a TV, next to that is the twin bedroom then the shower room and the small bunk room (Please note: the bunks are custom sized at L163cm x W56cm).

You will have the whole property to yourself.

On-site Park Amenities:
Reception Area -the place to go if you'd like to book any on-site activities or have questions about the on-site facilities.
Shop -a great place to pick up any essentials you've forgotten at short notice.
The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant -offering drinks, snacks, meals or takeaways. There is no need to book unless you are a party of more than ten.
Showbar -enjoy a drink and occasional entertainment.
Amusements Arcade -a range of arcade games.
Multi-sports Court -book at reception for a number of activities.
Kids Club -book your place at reception.
Outdoor Play Area -great to tire out little legs.
Patio/Decking Area -socialise or enjoy a drink or meal away from your lodge.
Heated Indoor Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym -book your slot at reception.
Boat Launch and Marina -book your slot beforehand.
Launderette -washing machines and dryers available (charges apply)

If you wish to use the pool, we advise booking a slot beforehand, though walk-ins may be available. Passes for the pool etc do incur an additional charge and can be purchased at reception.

Child non-peak: £5.95

Check-in and Check out:
The property is set up to allow remote access with easy self check-in meaning that no direct contact with anyone is needed.
Please note: Check-in is from 16:00 and Check-out is before 10:00

Infants:
The property does have a highchair but not a travel cot, however you are welcome to bring your own.

Parking and Public Transport:
There is a parking space for one car outside the lodge and further parking located near the park's reception, shop, bar, restaurant and pool, just a short walk from the lodge.
Buses: Windermere bus station is approximately 1.9 miles, 5 minute drive away. There is a bus stop just outside the gates of the Park.
Trains: Windermere train station is approximately 1.9 miles, 5 minute drive away.

We Provide:
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a shop on-site or several supermarket options in Windermere, a five minute drive from White Cross Bay. Co-op Food, Sainsbury's Local or the local supermarket chain -Booths (near the Bus and Train Stations) can all be found in Windermere.

Additional Fees/Charges:
A pre-authorisation fee of £100 will be applied to your credit card 24 hours before checkout. This will be automatically refunded if not needed 10 days after checkout.
A £50 charge will be requested if you check out or check in up to an hour outside the set times without prior permission and an extra night's rate for any time greater than this.
There will be a £50 call out fee if keys are locked inside the property and a £100 fee if keys are lost or not left in the key safe on your departure.

Please note that per the house rules, BBQ's are not allowed in or near the lodge. Please ask at Reception for BBQ friendly areas on site if you wish to BBQ.
BBQ's are not to be used in or near the lodge. Please check with Park reception to see if BBQ's are allowed on site.
Hot tub hire is strictly prohibited.
Extra guests are not allowed unless you are advised otherwise.
Respect for our neighbours is much appreciated so we ask you to keep the noise down between 10pm and 7am.
Please note that check in time is from 4pm and check out is before 10am. Unless you have advance approval for an early check in or late check out, these will be charged at £50 for up to an hour and an extra night's rate for any time greater than an hour.
A fee of £100 will be charged if the keys are lost or are not left in the key safe upon departure. We will also charge a callout fee of £50 if you lock the keys inside the property.
Please leave the property in a similar state to when you arrived and lock all doors and windows.
