Just outside of Austin lies the charming little village of Wimberley, TX and the cutest tiny home retreat you ever did see. Wimberley embodies the beauty of the Texas Hill Country with gorgeous scenery, spring-fed swimming holes, unique shops, lovely restaurants and many wineries, breweries and distilleries. Our stylish tiny home sits right at the edge of town on 3 private, wooded acres. We call her La Petite and we think she takes glamping to a whole new level!
La Petiteā€™s story begins in neighboring Fredericksburg where a local high school senior collaborated with his designer/builder dad to construct it from scratch for his senior project. We tucked it into this piece of wooded paradise and then crafted an incredible outdoor space to complete the vacation experience. We decorated our little piece of glamping heaven in a contemporary style with a bit of 1960ā€™s flair. La Petite boasts an open living/kitchen area with lots of natural light and blackout shades, a private bathroom and spacious loft with a low profile king bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils, plus a fridge, freezer, microwave and two burner stove. The home also has a smart TV, WiFi and a Bluetooth speaker. Step outside the front door and youā€™ll find a wrap-around split-level deck with a hot tub, stylish patio furniture, a covered patio with hammock chairs, an outdoor shower, a charcoal grill and a fire ring, all surrounded by the privacy of nature and lit by the glow of romantic string lights. Itā€™s truly a magical space! Whether you enjoy the luxuries of modern life or aim to escape into nature, we think youā€™ll find your happy place right here. Come experience a few days of hill country peace and relaxation!
This eco-conscious home offers: recycling, eco-friendly soaps, detergents & cleaning products, recycled premium paper products and a reverse-osmosis drinking water system (no need for plastic bottles).

Pet Fee:
Our pet fee is $50 each for friendly, leashed pets. Please declare pets at time of booking (max 2 pets without prior approval).
VRBO NOTE: Vrbo only charges one pet fee, so a 2nd pet fee will be added after booking, if applicable.

Note: The tiny house can host two adults and is not suitable for children.

Far enough from the city so you can get some peace and quiet but close enough to be able to easily run to an HEB. Itā€™s a great location and a great property tucked away in the woods. Truly loved the stay.

My wife and I decided to get away for our anniversary, and she found this little spot.Jennifer and Gregory were great communicators from start to finish. This was our first time staying in a tiny home, and it did not disappoint. The property was so nice and clean, and the home was also so nice, clean, and organized that you almost didn't want to disturb anything. We used pretty much all of the amenities, which included the hot tub, the fire pit, and the outdoor shower. I have to tell you, we fell in love with that outdoor shower. The weather made it perfect for showers under the stars.It was so quiet out there. The most noise we ever heard was from the highway nearby, but even that wasn't too bad. We enjoyed our breakfasts outside in the mornings, just taking in the peacefulness of it all.Wimberley was a great Texas town with some great shopping and eating experiences. (Traffic can get a little packed at certain times, but it's a small hub for shoppers). The HEB was really nice, too! We had a great time and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice getaway that isn't too far from civilization but makes you feel like it is.

We loved our stay here during our weekend trip to Wimberely. Location was great that is it is very close to town and also very private. Everything that you needed is there, and we had just a great time having coffee on the porch, getting in the hot tub, and sitting out by the fire pit. Definitely would recommend this place and will definitely want to go back and stay again!

Goodness, where to start. The tiny house was amazing. It had everything for the perfect vacay. Very secluded and private. Hot tub was clean and lovely. Outdoor area is great. Had never had an outdoor shower before, it was quite lovely. Wimberly is a hidden gem of a town. Owners were very responsive and accommodating.

Great little, tiny home to just relax. If you have difficulty climbing stairs this place is not for you. Also, it does not have a stove. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay. Lots of neat stuff to do in Wimberley.

My husband and I had an amazing time at La Petite. This tiny home is beautifully made in every detail. We definitely enjoyed the outdoor shower. I think itā€™s a wonderful experience everyone needs to try. We spent most of our time outdoors in the hot tub. We even had a deer come by. It was very relaxing. Even though you are just minutes away from town you feel like you are tucked away in the woods. The house had everything we needed to cook a wonderful breakfast and the grill was perfect for our steaks. I definitely canā€™t wait to return. I highly recommend staying at La Petite!!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place of paradise with us. šŸ˜Š
