"We are Alaskan locals but wanted some quality family time with our older teens. It was the perfect home away from home! We ice skated, had dinner at the Chop House, and enjoyed family games and movies in the cutest cottage! The night time sauna and morning coffee with frozen lake views completed the stay. The space was cozy, clean, and current! Already planning our next stay! We loved it so much!"

"We stayed at the Stillwater Cottages during a wind storm that left our home without power or water. Our cottage was such a special retreat in the storm, and was a clean, cozy and beautiful space to hide away in. The sunsets over the lake were stunning, and our space felt so private and calm. "It was an excellent two-night stay, with a clean and well-maintained room. The refrigerator, microwave, stove, and coffee maker are in the spacious shared kitchen, complete with all the necessary household utensils. It's a quiet location close to the center of the charming town of Talkeetna, where there are several breakfast and dinner options. There's a nearby restaurant that offers excellent quality and price, and for supplies, there are shops selling regional products. It's close to the airport for booking flights, with several flight options around Denali National Park, with prices that are very attractive compared to helicopter flights from Denali or Seward."
