About the home
Enter through the spacious mudroom with ample space to store all your outdoor wear complete with heated floors. Store all your adventure equipment in the private 1-car garage. As you pass through the mud room you are welcomed into the main living area full of natural light and surrounded by trees. The kitchen features all new stainless-steel appliances including a wolf Dual Fuel Range, a Sub-zero fridge, dishwasher, and microwave drawer. The beautiful custom cabinetry is continued into the dining room, which seats eight people. The living room features a stone surround fireplace, the perfect backdrop for any occasion. There is a flat-screen TV, and lots of seating perfect for entertaining or relaxing with a movie. Just off the living room is the first private balcony. On this balcony, you will find the BBQ and fire table. Relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the snow falling or the sun shining through the trees! Enjoy indoor/outdoor living all year round.
This floor also has a powder room and laundry room, both with heated floors. The four bedrooms and three full bathrooms are split over two levels with a private hot tub on the lower level.

Location
Creekside is where it all started, the original Whistler. You will enjoy the more relaxed, slower-paced vibe. Arguably some of the best restaurants in the resort, a grocery store, liquor stores, multiple gyms and a few local bars for Apres. Creekside is well connected to the Main Village by both the scenic Valley Trail and by various bus lines that arrive multiple times an hour.

One of the major advantages of Taluswood is its ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. With ski-in, ski-out access, you can easily hit the slopes for skiing or snowboarding. Additionally, the surrounding area offers fantastic opportunities for hiking and mountain biking, allowing you to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of the mountains. The views from this complex are unparalleled.

⌂ Neighbors are full-time residents and all guests must adhere to noise bylaws or be faced with fines or worse.

⌂ Ski-in, ski-out ability depends on the snow levels and lift operations. You can typically ski-in and out between mid - December and end of March. You can call our reservation agents a few days before your arrival to get an update on current conditions.
⌂ This home does not have air conditioning. Portable fans are provided in each bedroom and the living area.
⌂ Pack 'N Play & High Chairs are available for rentals by request.

Apartment is exactly as pictured; clean and comfortable and stylishly decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils, and the hot tub was enjoyable. Apartment feels very secluded even though you have neighbors both sides. Location meant we had to drive everywhere as its up a long hill, however, it is very near Whistler Creek and not too far from Whistler town. All in all a lovely stay.

Wonderful stay, great mountain access

The property was very clean and well maintained and fit the needs of our whole family. The hot tub and fire pit areas were great spaces to relax after a day on the mountain. Access to the mountain was good, we utilized the free parking at creek side as well as the ski in/out, the snow wasn’t super great.

Great Ski townhouse

Great property for a group of 8 with plenty of room and private hot tub. Ski in/out is dependent on snow conditions and unfortunately we didn’t have enough snow but it’s only a short drive to creek side and the village.

Awesome ski/board trip

We traveled with two families with teens to board and ski for the week. We visit whistler every year but have always stayed at a hotel by the base mainly for the ease and accessibility since our family wants to maximize our time on the mountains. But this year we wanted a different experience and have more space. The house came with all the amenities needed for a comfortable homestay. Plenty of dishes, utensils, appliances, and much more! Washer/dryer, extra towels, blankets, iron, shovel, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, board games, you name it it was provided. Only downside is it’s a bit far from the ski-in ski-out trails. Walking on the main road to access these trails with equipment is not easy when the roads are slushy with snow, ice or rain. Also, the roads are on an uphill and downhill with no sidewalk, so you’re sharing the walkway with cars. Overall, we all loved the house and had an amazing time.

This house is just what we were hoping it would be. Everything is just done right. The boot holder in the garage is directly over the heater, so boots are dry in the morning. It is a mostly downhill 100 yards to the ski out trail. The ski in trail is much closer, but it took a few days to find it. The ski in is just uphill of the olympic rings, and you need to go to the right before them. One suggestion for the home book is to to put a nice map and pictures to make finding the trail easier. The Kitchen was great, and there was a surprising amount of nice cast iron and nice pots. The bathroom and kitchen floors are heated, which is very nice. I would stay here again.

Excellent stay for 4 adults and 2 teenagers!

The property is better than advertised! Clean, well appointed, and with an excellent layout for 2 families with teen-aged children. Enough space for us to get some quiet time to ourselves, and accommodating enough for us to be together for dinner or watching a movie. Kitchen is very well-provisioned, with many appliances and cookware sufficient to cook modestly elaborate dinners. Creekside location was good for our group of 6 skiers - we drove down to Creekside's free underground parking each day, pretty easy. We didn't test the ski-in ski-out, as members of our group were beginners. Creekside gondola up (and downloading) was easy, drops you off right at the base of Big Red Chair which gets you on the snow on Whistler mountain ASAP. Not much different than Whistler or Blackcomb gondolas.Overall, we were absolutely delighted with this property and rental - so much so that we are thinking of repeating this vacation next year! Whistler Ideal does an excellent job managing this property.Opportunities for improvement: 1) Need clearer instructions on heating controls, both for room heating and floor heating. Bonus if you include recommendations on how to set thermostats if you're trying to achieve XX degrees in the bedrooms.2) Should specify the brewing type of coffee maker in the description so guests know what type of coffee to bring.3) Pots and pans and cooking utensils are fine as-is, but an upgrade to new cookware would be very welcome.

Summer hiking trip with the kids

Had a beautiful stay in Whistler. Rob the property manager was wonderful to work with. He was really responsive to all our questions, polite and a pleasure to work with. The hot tub was private and quite welcome after long hikes. Would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing Rental!!

Can’t say enough about how tremendous our stay was! This is a beautifully remodeled place that offers everything you could need from a rental. Felt like home. Even the small details of the receptacle covers for infants and the baby gates, everything was well thought-out. Would give this place a 10/10 and most definitely stay here if we visited Whistler again. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Whistler Early Summer

Great four days out of the Houston heat! The condo was everything advertised. Well stocked and comfortable. Great early mornings and evenings by the gas fireplace. Close to great hiking trails and fishing, which took up the bulk of our trip. Walking around town and shopping also fun. Easy check in. Staff (especially check in manager from Leeds, England of all places) very helpful.

Beautiful Mountain Property

The Townhouse has been remodeled to a high standard. It's really quite beautiful. We enjoyed using the hot tub, the bbq grill and the fireplace on the deck nightly. It is very quiet and serene in the evenings and this made sitting out on the deck very enjoyable. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen. They literally have every utensil that could be needed. Some in our group skied in and out of our unit but others that are less skilled drove to the village and started from the base. If you want to ski from the unit it's an approximately 5 min walk to the head of the trail. The trail is a bit narrow and steep, but manageable for intermediate skiers. Everyone loved our stay and we would return again on our next ski holiday to Whistler.
