An Excellent Choice for Biking and Birding

The house was as described and pictured on the VRBO site. The house was very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were of good quality. Towels were ample and substantial. We spent five nights at the house and cooked every meal there. There was nothing we needed in the kitchen that was not provided, including cooking oil, paper towels, and basic spices. We enjoyed streaming programs on the large smart TV in the basement in the evening. The furniture was clean and comfortable. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood. We could not hear or see the houses on either side of us. There is some ā€œtraffic white noiseā€ from Rt. 6 which we could hear if the windows were open. It did not bother us at all. It the windows were closed, there were no outside noises. There is a very private front and back yard. On this trip we planned to bike and bird. The house was perfectly located for those purposes. There are trails near the house by which you can access the CCRT without moving the car. The Audubon Nature Preserve is less than 5 minutes by car. The Province Lands bike trail was about a 25-minute drive. Various National Seashore beaches and sites are close by. The folks at Del Mar were very responsive to questions and requests. They have a great software system that pushes out information regarding check in, checkout, and contact information. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and would stay there again. Excellent location, excellent customer care

Property is as advertised in appearance. Clean, big kitchen, porch and game room allowed for great social flow inside. The location is ideal for an active groupā€¦steps from the Rail Trail, and 15 minute leisurely pedal to Marconi and Nauset Light Beaches, PB Boulanger, and Audubon Sanctuary trails. Wellfleet village and drive-in also close by. House amenities a hit with the kids: fusball, ping ping, volleyball, and shed full of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Outdoor shower also a big hit. Property managers were quick to respond and went well above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Nice Cape home

We shared the house with grandkids and their parents, itā€™s quite comfortable -including basement with ping pong table and other activities. Kitchen well laid out, nice screened in back porch. It was very hot so we didnā€™t use the porch as much as we would have liked. Window a/c in bedrooms worked okay to keep rest of house comfortable. Good location for going north or south on day trips. A little to close to Rt 6 for one of us (traffic noise a dull background sound that didnā€™t bother the others).
