"I took a chance on a motel with the name "Budget", and was so pleasantly surprised! I had a basic queen room (108), right next to the office which for a woman traveling alone was a comfort. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and the staff helpful and friendly. I was impressed with the large, spotless fridge with separate freezer... I've been in much more expensive hotels that didnt have that! Will definitely stay again if my travels bring me back to Watertown NY!"

"The room was clean. Room was nice and big had a little sitting area. There is no staff on site. The plants in the front of the door kept blowing over and we had tp pick it up ourselves to get in the door 5 times. The cream in the room for the coffee was curdled. The cookies they had in the room expired in May. The door to the room was extremely hard to open then slammed shut before you could grab it. Very loud. The price would have been fair if it had been a full service hotel."

"Our stay was great! The location of the cottage is perfect for walking around town. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a quick weekend trip. The pullout couch wasn’t the comfiest but that’s to be expected with those. Overall would highly recommend to others visiting Clayton!"

"This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay on Wellesley Island, NY. Tanya is a wonderful host - very responsive. We stayed 2 nights (Husband, wife & 18 y/o son). We really enjoyed the snack basket the host left for us - a very nice and thoughtful touch! The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to cook meals. We actually used the outside grill on the amazing outdoor deck to cook burgers one night. Although we don't drink coffee or tea, there is a very well-stocked area...

"The listing missed mentioning how many stairs there are . I don't do steps well. Otherwise the apartment was very nice. I have never paid that much for housecleaning so that is a negative in my book."
