"It was clearly well-kept, had everything we needed for a comfortable night's stay and nothing we didn't. We arrived early evening and owner wasn't there but left the key and details for us. Bathroom lotions and soaps were nice, and so was the heat lamp!"

"The breakfast was easily accessible. They had French toast which is my favorite. The room was clean and well organized. I enjoyed my stay and I appreciate that. "

"The house is grand, historic and our room comfortable and regal. Vicki was welcoming and informative and we had full access to the house and bikes to enjoy the surrounding scenery and waterways. We ate breakfast while watching golfers at hole 18. Breakfast was homemade and to our requests. It was a lovely, relaxing, quiet stay."

"Beautiful property on the shore of St. Lawrence River. We stayed in Cabin #1, which was clean, kitchen adequately equipped. Only caveat is this cabin is at the base of a surprisingly long stairway (we were told cabin was accessed by stairs, but not this many!), so moving in and out of the unit required significant aerobic ability. Also living room is oddly narrow, not a great family gathering area. But, wow! the view. We’ll definitely return, but stay in another cabin (hopefully #3, which is...

"Quick, polite check in, with good review of parking and policies, led to great stay. Ideal location on waterfront with fantastic views of river, Boldt Castle and many other islands. Right next to Uncle Sam Boat Tours/taxi to Boldt (highly recommend) and Blu Anchor bar/grill (good food and drink). Easy walk up James St to shops and more "pitstops". Note: Alex Bay is a summer season tour town. Many bars, restaurants close down by late Sept. Room was clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable....
