"It's an interesting place to stay for sure, love the vintage vibe however the neon beer signs in the windows at the restaurant kill that vibe a lot. I would definitely take the neon signs down. Not too expensive and close to downtown Portsend which is great! "

"We booked this castle for my husband’s 30th birthday with a RuneScape theme, and overall had a wonderful stay. The host was very responsive, and the property created a fun atmosphere for the celebration. We would definitely recommend it for a unique and luxurious stay. "The property was beautiful and loaded with amenities! It just wasn’t super clean, I kept randomly finding things throughout my stay that were progressively more dirty. The soles of my feet were completely black at the end of my stay despite not going outside. I found dirty dishes in the cabinet, spiderwebs strung through almost every set of blinds, random clumps of hair, and even a toenail on the cover for the pullout bed."
