Set on two lush acres and with Hawaii Volcanoes National Park only a mile away, this is the ideal place to stay when planning to explore the vast national park. Natural reserves, wildlife refuges, tropical forests, and nature sanctuaries abound in the area.

This home has an open-concept indoor living design with modern furnishings, vaulted ceilings, and even a gas fireplace for warming up on those high-elevation cool and damp volcano evenings. This sturdy home was uniquely designed and offers a sense of security. It is a rare find on the island in that it was carefully constructed of imported solid cedar which is a well-known aromatic mildew-resistant wood.

While there are excellent dining options within a short drive, the full kitchen offers the opportunity to cook an al fresco meal to enjoy together on the custom dining table or backyard lanai. This house has a 'cabin in the woods' feel and is the best location in Volcano to enjoy peace, nature, and the proximity of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
