Discount week September 17 to 24 ; Avignon historic center 1 km, on the other bank of the Rhône, in the medieval village of Villeneuve, at the foot of Fort St André, charming restored village house, with stone and exposed beams, for 4 people, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms , 2 Wp, kitchen living room, terrace + summer kitchen, air conditioning in all rooms. Ideal for Festival d'Avignon, for a relaxing holiday, a Provencal village atmosphere, close to restaurants and shops, and countryside. On 3 levels: Ground floor: lounge area, flat screen TV sofa, and fully equipped kitchen side. Spiral staircase: on the 1st: 1 bedroom for 2 p, 1 bed in 180 or 2 beds in 0. 90, private bathroom, small laundry room, separate W-c. 2nd: 1 room for 2 p, 1 bed in 180 or 2 beds in 0. 90, private bathroom, w-c. Staircase to access the terrace, magnificent view of the Palais des Papes, Fort Saint André and the village with summer kitchen (fridge + plancha + microwave) lounge and dining area. Household € 65. Es war eine schöne Woche in einem sehr schönen Haus. Die Aufteilung war für zwei Paare optimal, die Dachterrasse und der Ausblick phänomenal. Kurz: Es war toll!

Wir haben uns in dem nde rscen Haus , das in einer begrünten kleinen Gasse von Villeneuves Altstadt liegt, sofort zuhause gefühlt. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich mit einer ausführlichen Einweisung. Die Ausstattung war hervorragend, besonders auch die Dachterrasseit herrliche Dachterrasse

Ein traumhaft schönes Haus, sehr freundliche und sympathische Gastgeber (vielen Dank Nicole & Michel), beste Lage im wunderschönen Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Äußerst geschmackvoll und Stil sicher eingerichtet. Zum wohlfühlen und erholen. Wir kommen wieder!

Lovely Nicole met us at the house and showed us everything about the house. The house was spotless, and appeared to be recently renovated. The outside was quaint and a lovely French stone style with a very nice and quiet alleyway in front, lined with fragrant jasmine vines and pink oleanders, 15 feet tall. The house was equipped with the necessities, coffee maker, kitchen dishes and utensils and other items. There is a dishwasher and 2 undercounter refrigerators. The water gets hot very quickly, which is nice. The location is the key here. A lovely boulengerie is a few steps out of the door. Restaurants on the square are 5 minutes walk. Cute shops, ice cream shops and pharmacy are all close by. A Farmer’s market occurs every Thursday morning in the parking lot, which is very close. Every Saturday is a massive antiques market in the same parking lot. Parking is free and always available about 5 minutes away. There is a large grocery store within about a 10 minute drive. The house is a 5 minute walk to the amazing castle and there are beautiful gardens, museums, and more in Villeneuve. A short drive across the bridge takes you to Avignon, a much bigger city, but still, after parking in one of the garages, very walkable to see the historic sites. The negatives were that the beds were very firm and the internet was extremely poor. The tv only had French channels. There was one towel provided per person. No soap. The pillows uncomfortable. Many stairs.

Wir haben das schöne Haus in perfekter Lage in Villeneuve sehr genossen. Ruhig, aber trotzdem in der Nähe des Zentrums von Villeneuve. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus ist hübsch eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgerüstet um leckere französische Gerichte zu zaubern. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

stairs need banisters (albeit it was disclosed prior); too narrow stairway to take suitcases to bedroom; ability to use TV very difficult if not impossible. Center of village ... good location but not charming for us.

A very spacious house with two large bedrooms with comfortable beds and separate bathrooms which was perfect for the four of us. It allowed us to holiday together without being on top of each other. We really enjoyed our evenings on the outdoor rooftop space, which had a great a view of Fort Saint-André. The air con was a big plus for us too. The home was within a very short walking distance of all the village amenities including several cafes and restaurants and Avignon is a short 10-minute bus ride from a stop that is just a few minutes’ walk away. On the downside the wi-fi is only available on the ground floor. Although it was not a problem for us, the bedrooms and the rooftop space can only be accessed via a narrow spiral staircase. We would definitely recommend Cazarie if you want a great place to stay.

Das Haus liegt sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig in einer schmalen, idyllischen Altstadtgasse und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Klimaanlage in allen Räumen war bei der Hitze sehr willkommen. Absolutes Highlight ist die Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Dächer von Villeneuve auf die darüber liegende Festung und zur anderen Seite den Papstpalast. Hier lässt es sich abends gut verweilen. Die engen Treppen haben für uns nur zum Flair des Hauses beigetragen. Villeneuve selbst ist nicht touristisch überlaufen, bietet aber viele schöne Orte zur Erkundung. Selbst unsere fast erwachsenen Kinder waren von der Umgebung und dem Haus begeistert. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und problemlos.

Dieses Appartement besticht durch seine tolle Ausgangslage für Ausflüge zu diversen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Provence. Die Wohnung ist grosszügig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Ihr Plus sind die grosse Dachterrasse inkl. kleiner Küche, die zwei grosszügigen Zimmer mit je einem eigenem Bad sowie die unkomplizierte, Gastgeberin mit Herz. Einzig die steile Wendeltreppe, dürfte sowohl für betagtere Menschen als auch für kleinere Kinder herausfordernd sein. Alles in allem eine top Wohnung, die wir nur weiterempfehlen können, wenn sich jemand in der Provence für einige Zeit niederlassen möchte.

Perfect location in the centre of the town. Close to good restaurants, cafes and small shops. Clean and very nice rooms and with a fantastic roof terrace with an outdoor kitchen and coverage for the sun, the perfect place for breakfast and dinner when not eating out. Very friendly and helpful hostess. Parking to take place nearby on public parking and car to be moved on days of markets, not an issue but important to remember.

Das Haus fügt sich wunderbar in die provenzalische Atmosphäre von Villeneuve und Avignon ein. Dazu liegt es zentral für Ausflüge und Besichtigungen, Avignon ist bequem mit dem Bus zu erreichen.

Lovely house on a small Street just off the central square in Villeneuve les Avignon The owner lives next door and was more than accommodating. She apologized for the spotty Wi-Fi and that was the only issue with renting the place for a week. All in all a lovely spot close to the Central Square in a tiny town just across the river from Avignon

A beautifully restored town home within walking distance of all village amenities. Avignon is a short 10 minute bus ride from a stop that's a few minutes walk from the rental. Plenty of cafes and restaurants to enjoy village life. Also a number of historical sites all within walking distance. Nicole and Michel we're delightful hosts and responsive to all our needs If you are looking for a relaxing village vacation in a superb rental, the Caserie in Villeneuve Des Avignon is the place for you.

Des propriétaires à la maison en passant par Villeneuve les Avignon, tout est accueillant. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins et leur maison plus qu'agréable, c'est pour cela que nous espérons revenir ici à la Toussaint. Au plaisir de vous revoir Michel et nicole.

Das wunderschön renovierte und liebevoll eingerichtete Stadthaus war für uns rundum perfekt. Zentral und trotzdem wunderbar ruhig gelegen, eignet sich die Wohnung für die Erkundung von nahen und ferneren Ausflugszielen. Nicole ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die geniale Dachterrasse mit Außenküche und haben wir besonders genossen.

sehr angenehme Stadtwohnung, gut ausgestattet, geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Zentral, alle nötigen Geschäfte fußläufig erreichbar. Beeindruckend die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Papstpalast in Avignon, allerdings sehr steile, enge Treppe in die Obergeschosse. Für uns eine sehr angenehme und schöne Wohnung.

We had a great stay in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Nicole’s house is very attractive and well equipped. Having breakfast and late drinks on roof terrace was a real treat. Good location for getting to nearby sites but also plenty of decent restaurants in the village (Aubergine was our favourite!). We had to leave early at short notice and Nicole and her husband were very accommodating. Thank you!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans le maison de Nicole qui est soucieuse du bien être de ses locataires. La maison est très confortable avec tous les équipements nécessaires pour un bon séjour. Les lits sont très confortables, la clim est très appréciable en été. Le + est la terrasse au dernier niveau, c'est un havre de paix, de calme et de convivialité avec son coin salon, la cuisine d'été équipée d'une plancha (Le TOP!). La maison est dans le centre historique, près de tout commerce mais c'est très calme. Vraiment génial, je recommande cet endroit qui permet de visiter les merveilleux endroits de la région à proximité (Orange, Nimes, Avignon, le pont du gard, Gordes, les Baux de Provence...).

We had such a great time in the home of Nicole & Michel. The stunning house was a moment’s walk to wherever you needed to go in this picturesque village. Great restaurants and cafes and friendly service wherever you went. We cannot wait to return.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette belle maison, très propre, très bien équipée, proche de tous les magnifiques sites. Les Proprietaires sont très accueillants et soucieux du bien être de leurs hôtes. Nous espérons revenir !
