Great secluded location in Oak Creek Campground. Grill out on the huge deck while gazing at the stars, play a game of air hockey, foosball or an arcade game. Take a swim or play a game of ping pong at the pavilion. So much to do you need to plan an extended trip! 20 minutes from Ark Encounter.

Amazing A frame!

The place was very clean, had a washer and dryer. Air hockey, foosball, and an old school video game arcade. Checking in and checking out was so easy! A playground right in front of the place and dog park. It is very close to many attractions.

With a family of 6 adults, 6 children, 1 baby and 3 dogs, this was the perfect house!! The grandchildren loved camping on the floor and the playground next door was a bonus

This home had mouse poop on each level of the home. I would imagine it was swept well before we arrived as we noticed this droppings in the middle of the night when we went to the master bathroom, not there prior. Found under master bed, hallway outside master, behind the couch and beside the fridge. We did pack up early the next morning and let the office downstairs know the reason. They along with Shelly, district manager both stated this was the first they had ever had this happen. Iā€™m not sure I believe that as they did say when they went up there they found droppings under the sink. I had never mentioned the sink and had looked there the night before when we arrived to see what may be in the cabinets, nothing was there at that time. I mentioned other areas that they never mentioned seeing anything. We stayed less the 24 hours of our 5 night reservation, having to find another home to stay in. Once I tried to ask about any reimbursement all communication stopped and nothing further has been said. We also mentioned walking our small dog the night before and that the leash rule was not being followed by some and had a dog come at us and our dog, as the owner stood and did nothing. Again told by office and Shelly this was a first. Seems we must be the first for everything other than showing their apologizes for the inconvenience and delay in our trip.

Labor Day get away

We rented this cottage to be close to the Ark Encounter & the Creation Museum. It was right in the middle of both. The cottage was neat and clean as well as spacious. Plenty of pillows & blankets. Nice seating area and a few fun games. Although it is a rustic environment, there were a few things missing that could have made the stay easier. Like a hair dryer, colander and maybe a single use laundry soap and mini shower soap/shampoo would have been nice. Also many of the units towels we discovered on day 2 were left in the dryer. Overall a great stay. Our 6 year old loved the pool!

Convenient location for Ark and Creation Museum

Property was cute, clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was a little spotty. Kids enjoyed the playground and pool. We had a little trouble with the keyless door code pad at first, but the property managee got it fixed quickly.

A frame Kentucky visit

Everything was very nice. It was just as described. We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the stuff to play with in the house and we also enjoyed the playground and pool.

My husband and I with our daughter and 2 grandkids 10 & 8 stayed the week. Very nice stay. Great location. Pool and playground came in handy for entertaining the grandkids. Beautiful house. Nicely done. Game room was a plus.

Lovely cabin

Everything worked out great. Huge kitchen, could use more pots, pans & mixing bowls. Place is very beautiful and was a great location for going to the Ark & Creation Museum. Pool was not working and the steps can be hard for older people. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location to Ark & Creation Museum

Pros: We were visiting from CA. This is a spacious rental with plenty of room to spread out - very open feeling in main living area, loft & lots of floor space in closets/bedrooms for suitcases, etc. The games in the loft were enjoyed by all - our kids are 23, 19, 17, 15 & 13. We visited The Ark & Creation Museum and it was perfectly situated 1/2 between them. Couch was very comfy with charging area & cup holders! AC works great! We didnā€™t utilize the campground amenities, as were off site. FYI: These arenā€™t cons, but things to keep in mind. There are no blinds covering the windows overlooking the deck, which is in direct view of numerous RVs, play area & road. You feel a bit exposed, especially at night. The steps leading to the 2nd floor where the master bedroom & game room are, are in 2 sets, very steep & narrow. There is no hand railing on the upper 2nd section of stairs. Use caution. Overall, itā€™s clean, I do feel the floors could use a good mop, as our feet & socks got VERY dirty walking around. Both inner shower curtains had soap build up/staining and would recommend replacing. Kitchen/Bathroom: Basic utensils, tableware & cookware. 1 Roll of tp in each bathroom, 2 dishwasher tabs, 1 extra roll of paper towels, requested extra trash bags for kitchen trash (received quickly). Weā€™d give 5 stars ā­ļø if the floors got a good mop, handrail was installed on the 2nd section of stairs and long blinds were offered in the front windows.šŸ™‚

Great Location and Nice Property

We stayed at this property while visiting the Ark Encounter for a conference. The property was very clean, easy to get to, and a very nice property for a family. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place

Overall the A-frame was beautiful. A few things: I would recommend making one of the bedrooms on the main level a "main" bedroom. On the upper level the bedroom is gorgeous, but my parents could not make it up the steep stairs. I didn't realize the property was located within a campground (probably my fault), but it was quiet enough that it didn't take away from the experience. But the beautiful deck is facing the campground and I was asked multiple times about the office/employees as the office is below the A-frame. The deck also had a wasp issue. The back of the house was surrounded by tree making it picture perfect.

Loved it!

What a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone! Calm, quiet, fun, safe, clean, great location, fully equipped! Note that the campgrounds office is on the bottom floor of the A frame but it was never an issue or sound or safety, and there was no access to the cabin from the office.

Great midway point for both Ark Encounter and Creation Museum!

This was a great place to stay with kids and is almost equal distance to both the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. There is a playground that is right across from the house and you can even watch your kids from the balcony. When we got there we discovered the Keurig was broken, but Larry took care of it within an hour of us letting him know! There are plenty of beds and space in general. One of the closets could fit an opened up pack n play it's so big, though we didn't need to do that since our kids are big enough now for regular beds. Other than a few cleanliness issues we found, it was a nice place to stay and would stay again if/when we get the opportunity.
