Peace and Quiet at Twin Oak Acres

Our home sits on 8 acres of green space perfect for playing and relaxing with your group. Come and relax on the front or back porch and enjoy your view of spacious green fields and lovely sunsets. We have a two story home with 3 bedrooms upstairs and a lounge room/office space downstairs on the main floor. The main living area is an open concept floor plan with a gas fireplace. There is no garage but plenty of parking in the gravel driveway.

It was a very enjoyable experience for us. It was very nice to be able to spend time with everyone and have the space to do so. It was great to be able to cook meals and enjoy them as a family. Only downside was that there was only the one tv. At night it was have been nice to put on a movie in bed or had the teens go to another room to watch/play their video games and the rest of us watch a movie. Otherwise the property was wonderful and would definitely come back!

Beautiful home on the perfect setting. We did wish they had TV’s in bedrooms. I loved that the kitchen was supplied with spices and other cooking essentials. Quiet location definitely a must stay.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The home was clean, spacious and well appointed. The rural setting was also very relaxing. The location was within a reasonably dive to Ft. Bragg and also close to many nice golf courses. We will book this property again when we come to NC.

Beautiful house - exceptionally clean home! Well stocked: paper towels, toilet paper, sufficient amount of bath towels, and bath soaps, shampoo and conditioners. WIFI was efficient and tv streaming was available.Beautiful layout inside and out. A very relaxing place to stay. Highly recommend staying at this VRBO.

Charming Cottage

Stayed with two junior golfers who had a tournament at Woodlake CC. Great cottage and the owners were responsive when I had a question at check in. Would stay here again. Wonderful property.

Golf trip

This property was absolutely amazing. One of the nicest places we have stayed since starting our annual golf trip. Was great to relax and not have to work about any neighbors. Definitely would check this place out next time in the area.

Never want to leave

We stayed here for a visit to see family and this property was AMAZING! The views, the acres, the house. It was cozy, welcoming, and the boys played on the swings until til was dark! If we make it back to North Carolina we will for sure stay here again!

US Open

Beautiful property! Like new and well appointed with everything you could need! The huge yard and nice setting was a big plus to relax and take in the scenic peaceful evenings. As a VRBO owner I learned a lot from this property and the owners. Would love to stay there again! Nick🙏👌👏👏

Nice and quiet !

We had a nice stay again. This is our second visit! We were happy with our stay for the most part… except all of the showers had mold and mildew in them. It didn’t look like the showers were being up kept properly. We have a reference from our first stay 6 months ago and the house was perfectly clean then. No mold or mildew to be found in the showers.

The perfect spot!

I came to Vass for a painting/collage workshop (at Artworks Vass, which is SO worth a shopping trip) and my sister came along for the fun of the So Pines/Pinehurst area. We picked Twin Oak Acres for its location and how nice the house looked from the website. We were blown away by just how pretty the house was and how much space it had. We felt a little guilty for not bringing some friends or other family with us since it was so roomy. It was the perfect location for my class, but also very convenient for my sister's shopping jaunts during the day and our dinners out at night. My one heads-up has nothing to do with the house itself, but my GPS. It was dark when I arrived and my GPS simply said, "you have arrived." I didn't know if I needed to look right or left or turn down the side street that ended up being just beyond Twin Oak Acres's driveway. The house sits on a large lot and has a long driveway leading up to it, so I had a hard time seeing it in the dark. My sister's GPS got her there with no trouble, so hopefully yours will, too. Enjoy!

Christmas in the country

We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect farmhouse to spend Christmas with our daughter. The land is gorgeous and the home was so welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful well equipped kitchen, watching movies by the fire and just relaxing. The host couldn’t have been more gracious. We would love to stay here again when we come visit our daughter. No more hotel rooms after this special trip!

Family time

Came up from Florida for our sons birthday. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. The outside space provided plenty of room. The kids liked the swing and hammock. Nice place in a good location

I enjoyed the opportunity to stay at this well-maintained property for several nights. The country setting was peaceful and relaxing. There were some good places to eat within a few miles in Vass, as well as other conveniences. If I have the chance to spend time in this area again, I hope to stay here again.

Beautiful Property

House is perfectly situated on a large piece of land.House is well stocked, super clean, and very spacious. This may have been the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. The kids enjoyed the swings on the property as well! This house has everything you need and more. Our son was here to golf. The drive is about 15-25 minutes for all the major courses.

Great Location & Peaceful

This is a great place to stay when visiting Southern Pines and its local area. Plenty of room to spread out. Very comfortable. Loved the amenities, especially the large washer/dryer. The refrigerator appears extra large as well...never filled it up. Thinking of getting this one in our house when the old one gives up the ghost. Next time we head to Southern Pines, this property will be the FIRST one on our list!! You will not be disappointed!

Vass country house

Really enjoyed this home and location. Everything was very clean and well organized. All the instructional notes were very much appreciated. Loved the layout of this home. Would love to emulate this design on a lake in our region of the Pacific Northwest! This was the perfect place to spend Easter Sunday with our son and family who is in the Air Force at Pope AAF. Couldn’t ask for more!

Loved staying at Twin Oaks. Linda was great In her response time. Had snacks when we came in and coffee available and a few waters.. so nice after a 7 hour drive. Close to cute restaurants and shops in Pinehurst and our son had an easy time coming from Fort Bragg. Just what we all needed…. Some peace and quiet in a home away from home. Lovely home and more then expected!
